On thursday night we got smashed in the middle due to no in and under players. We may have a great centreline on paper but we need a no fear bloke to get the ball out of the tough situations. Ratten is a perfect example of a player that we need in the packs.
To me this problem stood out more than the problems in the backline.

Fair enough to post a new thread, but there's been plenty of threads where you can discuss the possible inclusion of Adam Bentick, or the hopeful return to 100% fitness sooner rather than later of Richard Hadley.

I think it's a massive problem, and a player like Bentick (although he's not 100% fit either), so maybe Pfeiffer or Armfield

Finally a blue that talks sense. Stevens and Judd are GUNS, when the balls been given to them, Judd especially, no better player when ball is in hand. Walker, a bloke you missed isn't hard at it, Bentick I recall is a goer but who else in your current side is?? If you're getting smashed in hard ball gets then you in big trouble.

And don't know why everyone seems to think Judd recieves the ball. He's led the comp in hard ball gets, contested possessions and clearances for like 4 yrs.

looked good during the pre-season games and is a solid tackler, what is he like when it comes to getting to the bottom of the pack and extracting the ball? what about anderson, seems like a player who is always trying to put pressure on the opposition by constantly applying tackles. played a good game on eagleton last year IIRC
