For those of who work in here. What is your income during the past year?

I must admit I work part time. And I get around $400 a week. Nothing special but just enough to survive. (400 x 52= 20 800)

With uni and all my income isn't great, probably similar to yours Dave (around $400 a week). Although during the breaks (3 months at the end of the year, plus a few weeks mid-year) I work full-time, so I get around $900 a week. Plus my sports gambling is a form of income, although I'd say I'm only up a few grand a year.

But it's better than in first year when I made around $150 a week due to me attending all lectures...I realise you don't need to do that. Starting my 2nd last year of the course soon :thumbsu:

BTW this is a touchy subject for some, as people who earn more will come on here and trumpet their earnings as a form of elitism.

I also study as well but I will paying partial Up front this semester.

And yes I too did make some sort of income from sports betting with Betfair. But as that is now banned in WA, I have to look to other ways to support myself.

It all depends on how you do it.

My ex-sister-in-law and her hubby have 9 children aged between 20 years and 4 months old. Her taxable income was about $40k. His was zero. Yet they have their own business and also own 9 investment properties and are building another 2 this year.

Your 'taxable income' is only as good as your accountant! (preferrably one that specialises in Family Trusts)
