Read this article, taken from the Sunday Times, PerthNow site, which says there is going to be more drug testing now: http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0,21598,25834020-5005401,00.html

Some interesting points:
Only 3 players from Subi tested in the past 3 years and assume this would be the same across the board at other WAFL clubs;
The WAFL won't be forced to pick up all of the cost, with "contributions from the WAFL" mentioned in the article;
Scott Watters is one behind the push to have more testing??:confused:
They will target those rumoured to be using drugs within the industry and those players that are consistently in the BOG player lists.

Well, certainly interesting times ahead.

A good thing, I'd suggest. There's probably the assumption that because the WAFL is a lesser standard competition than the AFL, that there couldn't possibly be any drug cheating going on. But this may not be the case.

Lol. They just wont leave Matt Barber alone.

I tell you what, if Perth were using drugs, I sure as hell hope I wasn't still able to out squat and out power clean the majority of them.
