It's a bit of a worry that none of Ballantyne, Bucovaz, Headland or Mayne seem to be any closer to a return than they were 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Brock's injury is a real shame. He was having his best pre-season and probably would have been playing if it wasn't for injuries. Now chances are he wont be back until mid-season as he will need to find form in the WAFL first. It would be nice to have someone with his attack and intensity in the team about now.

Classy defender Roger Hayden will return to face the Saints with Greg Broughton (ankle) injured on debut against Adelaide on Sunday.

Omitted after the round two loss to Essendon only to turn in an excellent game in the WAFL, Paul Duffield is also set for a recall.

I think basically in a nutshell says that Broughton will miss the week injured, possibly longer pending on recovery and the teams' performance. I'm assuming he will be replaced by either or both of Roger Hayden/Paul Duffield, does this sound about right?

Nah, I wouldn't count on hayden being back this week, they have been saying that for over a month now, seems like he's done a knee and the club isn't letting on. As for duffield, well he wont be coming back ever after screwign up his chance now that gilmore is back
