So it is well known now that we have injury clouds hovering over a few players in the lead up to this weeks prelim final.

Kennedy - Eye
LeCras - Ankle/knee
Waters - Back
Mackenzie - Leg

Have i missed any?

Please put all injury updates in here.

Someone mentioned Butler looked very proppy (possible hamstring I think) coming off the ground late in the 4th qtr.

Naitanui's issues with his left shoulder are well documented but last night he seemed to be showing residual effects of a few heavy hits from the Collingwood game. He was certainly very quiet.

Along with those mentioned in the OP we're starting to look pretty battered and bruised. I think this combined with Geelong having a week off will be as big an issue next week as any difference in pure footballing ability between the two sides.

Doesn't mean we can't win though. :)

Was reported that Butler had a lot of work done on his (upper?) hamstring during the 3rd qrt and 3 qrt time. Was mentioned on one of the footy shows this morning.

Yeah upper hamstring for Butler, he played out the game though. So probably out for the year.

That was me

One of the benefits of being right on the bench

He came off - talked to the trainer and the exact words by the trainer was - "he hasn't pinged it"

He actually didn't get much work into it - did a couple of run throughs and said he was ok. As he was waiting to go on he gave himself a bit of a rub at the top of his right - and went back on and played the game out with no dramas. Certainly didn't come off complaining again

Darlings hip has a Scotland shaped bruse on it.

We are pretty sore I suspect. Watters summed it up when asked if Cox would play (Cox is very sore and was magnificent - No Kerr but magnificent) - 'you cant have two weeks off for a cramp'

Lecras is apparently in doubt with a knee problem.

Do we bring in someone from left field like a Weedon if Lecras is out?

Hi guys. I have this storm. Anyone got a teacup I can pour it in?

All these guys are playing this week. Anyone who thinks this isnt a media beat up is well stupid. Last season one of our players wore a moon boot fro Round 11 to Round 22 because they were playing through injury (got a feeling it was Adam Selwood)

What a legend. What was wrong with his foot?

A moonboot means ligament damage pretty much. You put the moonboot on to prevent movement, lessen swelling etc. Its not that big of a deal really. Put a needle in it and he will be fine to go

Trent Croad played in a final with a actual broken foot. We are really expected to believe McKenzie is going to miss with a bruised foot?

He should try wearing one during the game. His kicking couldn't be any worse. ;)

Yeah, and that worked out great for him.

Would of made no impact whatsoever in a game of football today due to the sub rule. Still he won a premiership medal and it worked out better for them then it worked for us when we replaced a sore Quinten Lynch for Travis Gaspar (still gives me a shudder this)

I wouldnt bring in Wheedon for a final. I would say Hams could replace him is tough ,more mature and can play foward mid or defence.

I was going to say Hams for Masten as more flexible but this would be more logical.

Hams or Weedon up forward if LeCras misses for me. Most Likely Hams. Ebert up forward too.
