Injury Update Tue 13 April

Cale Morton (knee) - 4 weeks
Liam Jurrah (shoulder) - 11 weeks
Luke Tapscott (hip) - indefinite
Max Gawn (knee) - indefinite
John Meesen (ankle) - indefinite

Sylvia should be back this week by the sounds of it. Rivers I'd be happy to give another week or a run in the VFL, I can't fit him straight into the side.

Good to see Jetta and Wona are progressing. Both should be managed carefully but good to see them heading in the right direction. Hopefully they are back at Casey soon.

Bell and Morton going well according to the weeks. Jurrah also coming along, I hope the club does an injury feature to inform us all about him in the not too distant future.

Disappointing but not surprising that no time frame has been set for the other 3 yet. Hopefully Tapscott and Gawn can at least get a chunk of VFL in so they no where they are at before preseason. Poor Meesen, regardless of what you think of his worth as a footballer you have to feel for this guy. He finally got himself together to play 3 reasonable games last year and hasn't looked like getting on the park since.

i hope jetta can get himself back in the side. i really liked what i saw from him last year. hope he can get some VFL form. does things very similar to his brother (or cousin?) over at the swans.

one week for wona? haha dont think he will be playing VFL in one week, but i hope so.. he is a time bomb full of torn hamstrings..

After this week Its really only Jurrah and Morts left that are key players, and Cale ain't that far off. If we could just get a bit of luck with injuries (haven't had any for years), we could almost be full strength soon.

When did Gawn get injured, is it the one he had last year? I thought he would've been over that by now :/ also wish there was more info about Tapscott besides 'indefinite'

Really hope wonna manages to get back and get some footy into him, after all those problems last year and during the preseason I'm just hoping the rest of this season he can stay injury free!

It is the same injury from last year.

From memory he did about a month or so before the carnival. Reports where that he had been slaying it up until then…
