Is Shannon Motlop fit to play, who would come up of the emergencies if he is a late withdrawal?

As Jones, McLaren and Petrie are named as emergencies, you'd think one of the first 2 would replace him, having said that, I think Motlop WILL play.

I'm still peeved Jones and Sox Up were dropped! - IMO Clayton and Cochrane should be playing in the VFL this weekend.

Makey is a great player, but surely he can't be fit enough for seniors this week. Denis must hold him in very high regard to be slotting him straight back in.

Has Cochrane been playing weel enough to stay in? I've only been able to watch the last few games on tele and I have'nt seen him much at all. Maybe Denis needs him for a tag this week....

If Motlop doesn't come up, McLaren would be a better option than the less-defensive Jones as Port's midfield tend to stream forward a lot, and kick the bulk of the team's goals.

Petrie wouldn't be much of an option due to his lack of game time, but if he was match-ready I would not discount him as a back-up to Spider in the ruck. I see Primus as the exact type of player Petrie will eventually develop into, although hopefully Drew won't have knees made of tofu.
