Would like to see him stay. I think of him a bit like Cross (though maybe not as good a runner). Not super flashy, but gets a lot of the ball and just needs to persevere.
I hope he's one of those players like Boyd or Cross or Libba who struggle early in their career but when he finally gets into the side, seizes the opportunity and you wonder how you ever did without him.
What typifies those three is determination and commitment. If GOK has those elements, even without a lot of pace, he can be a 200 gamer.

I heard one other person mention indiscretions before, something about missing recovery sessions or something? I hoe he comes on, based on the best players lists at Willy he seems super consistent.
Don't really understand the comparisons with Cross. He's a good kick and can find the goals without any dramas. The thing he lacks is fitness. Given that he's still only a second year player and has performed better than a few players down at Williamstown who were given a go this year seems a bit different to the Cross mold. Think the big thing that needs improving is fitness and you'd likely see him get a game next year if we have him on our list still.

Correct. It came at a bad time just when he was hitting form. At least he wasn't out drinking and making an idiot of himself.
I've got his official warm-up jumper, numbered and surname printed on as well as signed.
You are right he is a great user of the ball & loves a goal.
How he didnt get a game with the form he showed is amazing but looking at trading him seems crazy when you consider Aker & Johno have a year or 2 left & with Higgins moving into the midfield he seems the perfect replacement.
Higgins wasn't the fittest or quickest when he arrived at the club but he is a bloody gun now i think Okeefe could do the same.
