Met up with Scott P last night and he is back on track, but they are not going to rush him.

Saw the other young players such as Thomas, Anthony, Stanley, Toovey, Cox, Iles etc. They all seem like nice boys and appear focused.

Sam Iles sat with us and looks like a really good boy.

BTW

Dale Thomas said that after he kicked his goal after that great mark, Schammer tried to rough him and told him he was a nobody. Daisy told him yeah right, how do those stop marks feel on the back of your neck!

At least the kid has some pluck!

I was thinking along similar lines. Thomas is a relative no body lets be honest. He hasn’t played a game yet. Schammer is a no body and he’s played for 3 years. That’s one of the funnier footy things I’ve heard for a while but to be frank it is Freo all over. One losing final in their history and people still keep rating them as the annual this years big improvers. If they got a heart it would be an improvement and if players like Schammer, Polak and co got an ounce of perspective they’d be some chance.

Spirit yes but I’m more impressed with his sharpness/speed on the comeback. It might seem like not much but these days mentally slow footballers are a death sentence and we have too many of them.
