Re: So who saw.....

M.....mmm....must abuse Roosterf.....( shooting pain from ANTI-ABUSE microchip drops NSWCROW to the floor clutching his head :D )

Nah......don't get me wrong ,he's a silly clown and he's rooted when his olds get home but it was a joy to see a 16 year old put ch9 , Leila and the crusader of all things good and holy ACA , be made to look STUPID :thumbsu:

LEILA - " Why don't you take your glasses off ?? "
WHATSISNAME - " Why don't you SUCK MY DICK , BITCH !!!! "

Re: So who saw.....

Even though he came across as a tool, I thought she was worse. She came across as a snide bitch for the most part. "Why don't you take your glasses off??" "Apologize to us all!" Pffft... Can't really expect much from A Current Affair though I guess...

Re: So who saw.....

I'm wondering why his parents haven't got home to kick his sorry arse yet?? Sorry but if it were my kid (and it wouldn't be), then I would have been on the first plane home to "deal" with son and mend fences with neighbours.

Re: So who saw.....

Obviously not much happening in the world when that story is the biggest news going around, front page of herald sun for gods sake. No one got bashed or stabbed, nothing got flogged who gives a toss. Makes Cornes pushing Phillis sound semi-interesting

Re: So who saw.....

Oh for the days when a child could actually be disciplined, and that boy is a child in every sense

Re: So who saw.....

I don't get why he should cop all the blame. In High School people have parties when there parents are away almost every weekend. people did stupid stuff, if he wasn't one of those people then why should he cop all the blame. Gate Crashers are public enemy no.1 in my book

except when I am one of them :thumbsu:

Re: So who saw.....

Yes some physical violence would sort him out.

I was referring to when a copper could actually kick someone's arse, crime didn't disappear, but consequences were certainly taken note of, and factored into a blokes decision making process.

Didn't the child promote the party on his myspace page, inviting all & sundry?

If that was the case, how could there be "Gate Crashers"?

Re: So who saw.....

That kid was an absolute tosser.
His ACA appearance only served to feed his already out of control ego, and he was probably paid a healthy packet for it too.
At least we can take solace from the fact that it was the absolute pinnacle of his existance, and that he'll never actually amount to anything.

Well if thats the case then he should be in for some of the blame.

But lets be honest, who would you rather punish, the d*ckheads who threw rocks at the cops, knocked down the letter boxes, or the kid whose house the party started at?

The neighbours feared for their lives and had some of their garden furniture smashed. Apparently 500 kids out of control.
You call that nothing. Get real.

Stan if you hold a function, it's your responsibility that nothing gets out of hand. For once I agree with Asgardian.
No matter who goes the boot, this kid and his mates sure deserve it.

Bring back corporal punishment I say. :thumbsu:

Hope the cops give him the $20k bill and the parents refuse to pay it and he has to do community service.

So allowing the cops to bash people is the answer??? If someone is drunk off their head they probably aren't thinking too much about consequences at that point, so allowing police to arbitrarily beat the shit out of someone isn't going to make a difference.

And you think thats the first time something like that has happened? Get real! I dont know how sheltered your life was but Ive been too parties where a group of gate crashers have arrived ( Im not going to mention any race but Im sure you get the jist) and the kid who was having the party got stabbed and put on life support and the parents got bashed, far worse in my books. And the fights broke out on the streets where cars and neighbours houses got trashed. Im sure Im not the only one on here to have similar stories and Im sure none of them ended up on the front page of the Heraldsun and The Advertiser and A current Affair and Today Tonight. Thats my point sunshine, wasnt saying I condone it but it certainly must be a quiet week in news to have that spoilt little shit acting all tough with his bald pidgeon-chest.

Re: So who saw.....

From the reporst i have heard is that this kid is actually not that much of a tosser. From some reports (teachers from his school etc) he is generally very well mannered. Has a 'jock' like ego and is confident and outgoing but is not that bad.

Cam across as a tool on ACA but if i was hungover, new i was up shit creek and had some mole pushing a microphone down my face id talk smack to her as well. Parties happen all the time. He lost control. Ive done it and kept it in check so you can blame him for not being more controlling and responsible.

Dick move advertising it on myspace but apparently the police were in the process of shutting down a party a few streets away. Text msgs fly and all of a sudden there are and extra 300 people on his doorstep. He said he doent feel at blame for the damage. I think he must accept that open inviting people is going to mean trouble and that any damaged caused as a result of his mates being tools is his fault. I empathise with him when gatecrashers rock up and cause mayhem. What else could he do in that situation besides lock himself and his mates inside his house and look after his own property. Trying to get 300+ uninvited and drunken teens to piss off is bit much of an ask but hey....open invite = dick move.

No pocket money for a while will suck but not as much as losing the trust he previously had with his parents. Im sure the money ZOO are offering for an interview will hold him in good stead for a while though.

Re: So who saw.....

I thought it was absolutely hilarious.

Stupid woman tried to take the moral high ground with a rod up her ass - if it was me i would have said she was there sleeping with random 16 year olds.

On the issue - Corey is his name - and he doesnt seem to bad. A bit daft advertising it on myspace - but i know a lot of parties like this, infact im going to one on saturday.

But i think Huge parties will be the future of myspace - eg the secret shows and things like that - have a massive myspace bash somewhere in town. Would pwn all the blue light discos and things like that.

Who said anything about cops bashing people or beating the shit out of them?

When I was a kid a copper could give a lout a clip behind the ear, or a hefty kick up the bum, never hurt anything except your pride.

What it did do though was 2 things, you knew you didn't want to be taken to the lock-up, & the coppers knew who were the trouble-makers

It was a different era I guess, less people about, kids were always active within the community, hence the cops & the kids had day to day interaction via sport & stuff. That contact no longer happens, hence everyone is a stranger, the dissolution of empathy is immediate, automatic. The consequences are just not present from family, friends or the law.

Kids are encouraged to be cheeky, they learn, they adapt, they shove their "rights" into everyones face, saying touch me and I'll sue.

That to me is part of a downfall of community standards, too much protection for the criminal's rights, not enough notice taken of the violated victim.

No petals not the first time, however other clowns see the fact that this bloke is now a legend for more than 15 minutes and they want their picture plastered all over the world as well.

So what do they do, exactly the same thing and it will escalate. The more publicity you give to people like him the more others want what he had.

My main objection to your reply was 'what's the problem, no one got hurt' statement. Maybe not here but give it time and someone will.
And the neighbours deserved this? Give me a break snowball. ;)

And yes I've been to parties like that and ended up just in the same situation as the police found themselves in.
