Just rocked up. Grimlock is about a metre to my left, don think he remembers me. ********.

Anyway, games about to start, a good part of the squad isn't playing. Vespa, White, Goodes and Hanners all doin fitness work.

Campbell Heath has obviously spent the summer eating. Mckaigue going away frees left right an centre.

Edit: players not playing

Smith
Hanners
Vespa
Mumford
Goodes
LRT
Thornton
Playfair
Barlow
White
Seaby (though it should be noted that he's got a guernsey on and is running around on the field)

This means that Shaw and Craig Bolton are playing?

OK clearly there injuries keeping them out of the NAB cup are non entities.

Nope, they were off to the side too.

Where were you guys? Not that I know what you look like. :p

Grim, might have been me, the swans polo and cap, denim shorts. And yeah, I was constantly checking my phone to make sure it wasn't past the 2 hours then I decided to play it safe and just leave. :p

How is Johnston going (though i thought he was injured but you didn't say he wasn't playing)?

Nah he didn't play, just sat there on an exercise bike on the sideline watching. Though he didn't look too injured - nothing on his foot for his broken toe - so he could be looked at for a debut towards the end of the season.

Gilly might have been the yellow midget with the number 3 on? Honestly, looked like a 15 year old.

My post from the other thread:

Just got back from the match, didn't want to stay too long as I was in a 2 hour parking spot... I think I was only parked there an hour and a half but I was anxious not to over-stay it.

Few notes from what I saw:

- Rohan and Jetta look real keepers. Great pace, great positioning, some good marking and body work by Rohan, and at one point Jetta turned I think Josh Kennedy inside out in a great movement.

- Pyke took a great mark and looks like he's really stepped up from his level of last year. Played a bit in the forward line so that might be where we see him in NAB Cup.

- Vesz wandered over to a trainer near me and was talking about something not being as sore as last week so he might be carrying a bit of an injury, didn't take part in the game just did laps with Playfair, White and Goodes.

- Dennis-Lane looked lively in front of goals, took a few great marks, slotted some good goals, and looked really dangerous.

- Don't know who the 15-year old lookalike in the number 3 was, if that was Gilchrist, he looked VERY skinny, looked like if Kirk tackled him he'd snap in two. Pretty short too, so I dunno...

- McKaigue was a stand out in my mind mainly because he played right in front of me at the start and it took me a while to figure out who it was wearing the 19. Kirk had to tell him where to go a couple of times, but he also had a great pivot-snap-goal at one point, so looks to have at least mastered the basics, might begin getting a look in next year if he doesn't go home.

- Kennelly, Eski and Mattner looked good, all pinpointing their kicks for the most part which was great to see.

- Moore looks to definately have moved into the midfield, only drifting forward when the play was in the F50.

- Hanners and Mummy didn't play either, though they might have gone on later after I left.

- LJ was looking a forlorn figure riding his exercise bike on the sideline, couldn't see any sign of injury though, and he definately looks to have bulked up.

- Heath looked pretty decent from what I saw of him. Solid role in the backline, pretty spot on with his kicking.

Shotties might be able to add more.

Well when he was lining up to kick that goal I was thinking to myself 'If you miss this you don't deserve to be in the team' but then he kicked it...

Might be looking at a Goodes - Pyke - Seaby - Currie forward line set up with Currie and Pyke also rotating through the ruck.
