Who's doing it? At the end of it, lets post the results on here. For those who don't know, it's on Channel Nine right now.

66/76 in the 15-25 age group, so that works out to 133.

The social questions at the end stuffed me up, I missed 4 out of the last 5 questions.

Of course this test is pretty silly as it doesn't take into account the amount of time taken to finish each question and other imortant factors.

108%
got alot of answer right the 2nd time around before they said the answers, just didnt think enough! :(
The words at the start stuffed me up the most!

Same, I was flying until the last 2 sections. Only got 6 out of the last 12 correct. Was in the 26-40 age group, so my score was 140. Got to be pretty happy about that.

Yes and no. An IQ doesn't take into consideration a lot of important stuff like social and artistic ability. On the other hand, if you are curious, this is really the only time to take a reasonably accurate IQ test - because so many other people are doing the exact same test. I bet there are plenty of people out there who were crap at school and were tricked into thinking they weren't the brightest spark, only to get a good result in the test, and prove those **** er teachers that they were wrong.

That really was an entertaining, challenging, and informative three-and-a-half hours. And Eddie was absolutely charming, very charismatic... you could tell he was having fun hosting this, even with all the ribbing at the blondes, celebrities and Kiwis.

I got 42/64, which for my age group translates to an IQ of 102, which is very average. Insignificantly average, in fact.

My wife Jennifer got 40/64 for an IQ of 95-- and she thinks she's stupid. "Farmer Brown's intelligence", she calls it, among other euphemisms.

The rest of you, and especially those who know us... PLEASE tell her that she is not dumb. My wife is far from dumb, and after this test, I am having trouble convincing her of this.

Anyhow, this was a wonderful use of an evening in front of the TV. :D

Cheers,
William

Great night of televsion, actually, Really entertaining.

My score was virtually identical to the IQ test my mother gave me (who is a teacher) last year, so the score presumably is roughly accurate.

Stuffed up on the language, but gunned it with the logic and reasoning.

I tuned in a little into the reading of the answers (didn't take the test proper) and so for fun tried to get the answers as the questions were reposed just before the answers were given.

I missed the whole language section.

I ended up with 36 correct from 49, or 73.4%, or IQ 115 (if I had run with the same ratio all game).

With the questions missed, my score would have fallen between a low of 36 and a high of 64, or between IQ93 & IQ 131 (115 at the ratio set).

Possibly a couple of answers snuck in through crowd shouting out while I was trying to figure them out, on the other hand I worked with less time as I only used the answer section of the show.

Arithmetic - 11/11
Memory - 5/12
Sequences - 11/14
Learning - 9/12
---
Total - 36/49

Dunno what sort of questions the language ones were.

I got 106 but if the test was in a month's time (when I'll turn 26) I would get 112, so I took my IQ as 109, gotta take every opportunity to artifically boost your score! ;)

Absolutely befuddled as to how Fatty Vautin could be that bright!?

I don't know if I artificially increased or decreased my score by sneaking off to play basketball at 9pm, taping it and coming back and fast forwarding just to the questions. I missed all the concentration disrupting waffle.

anyway

I always get between 120 - 130 and this time got 126.

Should have worked out you multiply/divide before add/subtract.

On a positive spin I'm high up in the non geniuses.

135.

I have been professionally tested twice before and scored in the 130-135 range before, so the result reflects on me pretty well, although I don't think the test was very good. I feel that the general knowledge and social questions were inappropriate and I felt the test was a bit skewed towards certain types of people.

Evidence of this is my wife, who scored only 103. She has been tested professionally as high as 128, so we were a bit surprised. I think the biggest reason was because the math is her weakest category, and the limited time given to answer those questions prevented her from answering much of them accurately.

I got 63/76

I got every single arithmetic one right and every single sequence one right. I got 5/12 in the literacy ones though :(

Didn't actually get to see the show, what was it like?

Did they have celebrities or contestants in the studio or what?

Have done a few IQ tests both online and at academic institutions and usually score 140 - 145.
