comon mate, there's no point creating a stupid thread just cos some guy is trolling the richmond board. i think everyone's already acknowledged how good they think cotch will be.

his not trying to prove any point by coming on your board, he is just completely envious and jealous about the fact that you have a superstar in the making, Australia is known for its tall poppy syndrome, that is people are always looking to try and put down the best.

you should be flattered that he is so jealous of richmond having a talent that great, that he feels the urge to come on your board and try and talk about him in a derogatory fashion.

Judd is recovering from groin surgery and is currently a dud.

Hodge had OP in years 2 and 3 and was a dud.

Goodes had a groin injury yesterday and was a dud.

I think that it is FAR too early to start labelling Cotchin (or anyone else from the 2007 draft) as either a "dud" or a "superstar". Cotchin has looked good on the occasions that I have seen him play and it is easy to see why Richmond selected him.

hes played good games so far in this season.
every young gun starts of alrite but then they improve and become a superstar!
like deledio, foley, raines they have been playing great games even though raines is out injured but when he comes back its gonna b the same rainsey good, quick, skillful.

Hardly. Cotchin will be a very good player no doubt. Did a few midfield clangers last night though, resulting in 2 Lions goals, but he'll improve with experience. His kicking is very accurate and precise over short distance, but he does lack distance in his kicking - a bit like Harvey in that regard. He has no where near the kicking penetration of Bryce Gibbs for example, but then again not many do.
