not preparing for the slippery conditions?

I almost turned the TV off at half time because to that point I still don't think i had seen a clean posession or a clean kick.

If it wasn't for Port's equally horrendous kicking efficiency we would have lost by a lot more.

I don't think the coaching panel prepared for Darwin IMO (other than the heat chamber thing)

Yeah that was a huge factor, the amount of times players tried to mark with their hands rather than on the chest was terrible.

Thought King adapted very well to the conditions very early marked the ball on his chest everytime. Maybe so of the guys should learn from him :p

Honestly thought that this was the cructial factor that found us out in other areas that we perphaps didnt think we would need to be as good at. i.e desperation, hardness and hunger. last nights game reminded me so much of the game we play against the power in horrible conditions at aami stadium last year. we were 0-9, not expected to win but our hardness won us the game and last night i thought it was the our way around. put the boys in dry conditions, hands are clean, kicks hit the target and we win the game. mentally werent ready for the level of commitment needed to win in those conditions
