after going to the game last year and this year and seeing the sheer jubilation and enjkoyment of winning a premiership don't you think it is our turn...
ninth is fine for a year coming from last but now we have to improve on that... make the finals... after yesterday's win by the hawks it shows us our close the comp is considering we beat them only a few weeks ago took it to the saints drew with doggies and they were all top four teams...

i want to be at the ground on that last day in september yelling and screaming when i hear 'Number 12 (long pause) MMMAATTTTTTHHHHEEEWWW RRRIIIIICCCCCHHHHAAARRRDDDSSSSOOON
28 years is long enough... i am seventeen and have seen my team in the finals once and don't remember 95.

so with our team as it is now with some younger guys and injured players coming back i reckon we should be a massive chance in the next few years...

There is no doubt that I will get tickets, I will pay the bullshit $1995 corporate tickets then trade them with someone sitting behind the goals.

If current trends continue we should have a good year next year, but being a Tiger for so many years teaches you to not get your hopes up too much. We just don't handle expectation. The thing that looks like taking the foundation out from under us is off field board level issues. I still don't feel that we're united enough off the field.
Our kids are growing mentally and when playing our best footy we can beat just about every side, we've shown that this year. Consistency and skills development is what's needed next. We're getting there, might be taking a while but we're getting there.

I thought I did it tough I was 5 years old in 1980 and missed out on remembering that win, I remember bits in 82, lost a 20 cent bet with my Carlton uncle. I remember 95 and 2001 finals campaign.

I agree with you it is our time. People always rate us to Hawthorn, well lets see it.

Bling will be brilliant next year, I used to hate seeing him with the ball, these days I am delighted when he is willing to take them on, think of next year after the experience so far he has had of AFL.

Jordy will be amazing next year. People constantly go on about him playing better in a good side, well we have a good side, he will be very significant.

Richo would have seen how close he got to being the best player in the AFL. He will try that bit harder (I know its hard to imagine) next year. No more needs to be said.

Cotchin will have half a season under his belt. No more needs to be said, he will be a star.

Deledio... Did you see him this year?

Hughes/Morton - Another year, another 5 months to progress.

Foley, Cogs, Johnson - A year of class I would suspect. Johnson has been put down constantly (even by me) but to be honest he puts his balls and his general mathers on the line every week (prove me wrong).This will be an ELITE midfield.

Thirsty, Newman, Bowdan = brilliant. These three fit in perfect with each other.

To the players I have missed they do not deserve to be missed, they are a class act this team, with proper bonding, proper knowledge of each other, proper skills this will be a good team.

Such a shame that most of our members wont be able to get tickets. If as madtiger says we have 50k members only 10k of them would get tickets. Thank you for my AFL membership that I will be there on the day the tigers win that premiership Next september

yeah but i just don't want to be waiting around for 70 years like the swans and 40-50 like the cats and dogs...
we better win one soon...
like the heartache we go through every year to fall short when we no our club is better then that...
why couldn't we play like we did in the second half of the year in the first....
our can a team be beating the crows by 5 goal and lose and take it up to the cats and then get beat by the bloody blues...
i love the tigers more then anything but i hope they win something soon or even make finals next year...
if we don't it will be 2002 all over again...
