Is John Morrison a Face?

Haven't watched much recently, but i caught a few glimpses of Morrison, and he appears to be wrestling heels, and toning down a bit. On the Dirt Sheet he and Miz are opposing each other. So is he a face or what? I think he'd make a perfect inbetweener.

I think the Morrison and Benjamin feud will be awesome if they don't screw it up, they don't even need to add in a title. They should do what they did with Michaels and Benoit back in the day, and have a best out of seven series or something.

If Morrison can go back to how he was before he teamed up with The Miz, but just use his insults and so forth against heels, that'd be great IMO.

I really have never seen what's hateable about him, even when he was supposed to be a heel. I've always liked him.

As far as im aware, they never even had a one on one, let alone a best of seven series.

Booker and Benoit had a 7-match series for the US title in WCW IIRC. Someone, I think Benoit, was up 3-0 and managed to lose (was kinda predictable though).

They also had a best of 7 over the US title in the WWE some years later, reprising that classic series.

Then they had another 7 match series in WWE for the same belt I think, Booker got injured so Orton had to fill in for him for some of the matches.

My mistake, I remember it was Benoit and someone and I thought it was a top idea. It's something I'd like to see again, and with two wrestlers who compliment each others styles such as Morrison and Benjamin, it would be sweet. They could even different types of matches, leading up to a Summerslam decider after three wins each. Maybe it could end in a double countout where the crowd gets really pissed off, so Teddy Long demands it continue outside the ring/arena whilst the rest of the PPV goes on, and have a little box in the top left featuring the Morrison/Benjamin battle in the car park. After the final match of the night, the battle makes its way back to the ring for an exciting conclusion. Man I wish I worked for TNA.
