Gee, I hope that is just a bad photo. He remids me of munkhurst. I hope he is a bit smarter though... and for his sake not really as ugly

I just hope you're a female -worrying so much about how a player looks.

The point of the picture was to demonstrate that he's no toothpick like Hampson (Wood, Luenberger, Warnock etc.) -although I rate Hampson very highly and am very exicted for his development.

Kreuzer on the other hand looks bulky enough to play AFL already without requiring 3 pre-seasons pumping iron to be able to fend for himself.

That's a fair call. With 3 years in the gym he'll be a monster! He should be capable of some part time rucking as early as next year. Stood right behind him at Princes Park a couple of months ago and he is a HUGE kid, very wide shoulders.:thumbsu:

I don't know about that. Fraser is a good midfielder, just lacking in the rucking department.
As long as he keeps Cloke out of the side and lets BadSanta play down back I'll be happy.

if thats the case get Cotchin with pick 1...

WE dont need a really tall midfielder. We need a really good tap ruckman which i dont think that Kreuzer is.

As TGR has alluded to elsewhere, with some work with Dempsey, in time Kreuzer will be a good tap ruckman. IF we do happen to go with Kreuzer then I truly believe within time a ruck combination of Hampson/Kreuzer will be the best in the AFL. Just as a side note, I read elsewhere about Kreuz's arm-span (which is pretty long for a kid of his height).....which essentially means if you lined him up next to a Josh Fraser or Dean Cox and got them to extend their arms in the air then Kreuz's fingertips would essentially be at the same height anyway ;)

...and at only 18 years of age he would still have a few cm's left in him anyway!

Maybe, I wouldn't get too excited, but it is possible, the fact is I don't think it matters anyway....can we get a bone scan done?? :)

What do you base that on? Because he is so tall most likely he has already done all his growing?

I was still growing til about 21 -from 18 to 21 grew about an inch/inch and a half!

I agree Gilly.
Hampson and Kruezer would scare the cr@p out of 15 other clubs in a few years time. And having Murphy, Gibbs and Judd at their feet will be the envy of every other club.

Bluebar :p will be able to clear this up, but my understanding was that we basically finish vertical bone growth at aroun 18-19....after that we can still grow (a little bit) through bone density or some other type of bone development which doesn't come initially to mind

You have only ever seen me sitting down!!

Carlton gave us no reason to stand up cheering that whole game!

if i remember correctly i needed to stand when you had to get past me after u had to get some beers!!!

but yeah definately nothing worth jumping up about that game!!!

Yep and both are very effective resting foward while not in the ruck meaning we can have one of these 2 monsters deep in the forward line for the entire game (rotating)

Similar athletes but Kreuzer is more of a pure ruckman than Kosi who is more an instinctual forward. Kreuzer would have him covered for endurance and awareness.
The question must be asked.
Has there been a less "aware" player in the history of the AFL/VFL?
