Is Nick Maxwell good at anything please help?

So far I have worked out that he is not good as a patisserie chef or origami or even as a fluffer in one of those lovey dovey movies where everyone takes there clothes off not for me thanks

i thought about him running for the parliament house as an Australian Democrat but he cant do that either and why would he want to.

perhaps Nicky would be a good as an osterich rancher he could put his arse on the eggs and keep the chicks warm. I dont know.

what other suggestions can you come up with?

Inspirational captain. Lifted a talentless list into the finals. You can't just blaim his total lack of ability for the flogging they got in the finals, the entire club has an abysmal record in September and has for the last 51 years. You can't expect a bloke who tries to compensate for his complete lack of ability by puffing his chest out and trying to look like a tough man to turn the clubs loser mentality around by himself.

Would make an awesome wide receiver in the NFL.
As he is excellent at running wide of an opponent
And by the look of his girly face he is probably very good at receiving something:)
Good question though, it has got me wondering:thumbsu:

Hmmmm.

Player B. Pseudo tough guy and sniper. Generally acknowledged as one of the top few guys on the list of "we're all amazed are actually running around in the AFL at all." Well on course to become the only player in history to retire without recording a single hard ball get. Not good enough to be labelled one dimensional.

Apart from the obvious qualities he now has the ability to inspire imaginative thought from some minds previously thought brain dead.

While the above posts are basic, piss poor and lack any sophistication, while the Carlton posters lack any originality of thought, you can almost hear the clanking of tiny neurones awaking for the 1st time. Remarkable.

Hats off to Nick

Hmmmm.

Player A. This player lifts the output of the entire team. Brownlow Medalist. Premiership Captain (has Collingwood got one of those still alive?) AA captain. A star in a run by role, who changed to being a star in and under because he can't run anymore. And due to show both aspects in 2010. For a long time the undisputed best player running around, and still on every list of the top two or three players in the league (except HodgePodege's).

Who can pick which is which?

Edited for accuracy. Carry on.

"Thanks for the power-glove Dad! It's giving me a hardon!"

He is an absolute champion at leading the funniest club in the comp, he is also outstanding at teaching shane obree to play football.

He would also make a good Essendon player.

Reckon he might go ok at tiggy or hide and seek.

He is a terrible hack at the right club, showing his wares alongside the likes of Fraser, Cloke, Obree and the rest of the "laughed at".

I can only hope he breaks Michael Tucks record.

At least our players are willing to give their all for our captain. It's a shame the same can't be said for Carlton, as good of a player as Judd is.

I don't really care if opposition supporters don't rate Maxwell. I'm happy with his captaincy and that's all that matters.

Nick is an above average car theif. He is also quite adept at providing false alibis for his less honourable team mates.
'i' before 'e' except after 'c' is the general rule. You'll learn that once you hit grade 4.
Hmmmm.

You forgot to mention that Player B led his side to a finals victory in his first year as captain, whilst I'm not sure how many finals victories Player A has had at his current club. You also forgot to mention there were about 150 backmen below him in the pecking order when the All-Australian guernseys were handed out in 2009.

Is that what you were after?

Onfield leadership: 9/10
Offield leadership: 10/10
Blocks/Shephards: 10/10
Leaving man to assist teammates: 10/10

Leaves other captains in his wake in these facets.

Thank you Captain Spellcheck, I'll do better next time.

PS At least we'll never have to listen to Maxwell make a winning speech on Grand Final day.:D

All this chitter chatter from the lightweights reminds me of the same mass attack of the vapours that beset the lace-hanky brigade when Tony Shaw took over in the 80's.

Shaw took their words, rolled 'em in dogshit, and forced them back down every unwilling throat.

...

Sad to hear you're on the way out mate, we'll down one in you memory when Maxwell hoists the 2010 Premiership cup for the Pies in Septemeber.:thumbsu: RIP Reardo.

To do that Collingwood have to drop Didak, Davis, Medhurst, Cloke and Anthony to the VFL come Finals time.

How much longer are Collingwood going to ignore these same blokes year in year out going missing in Finals.

With these imposters playing for them I can't see Collingwood winning anything.

I suppose you can still dream, but I bet you still believe in the Tooth Fairy. :)
