What part of maxwell contacts his head?

Was it maxy's head?

No, it was his shoulder.

And it wouldn't matter if it was his head, any contact to the other players head isn't allowed if the player chooses not to go for the ball.

The hip and shoulder will still be there its just we will see players every year, getting rubbed out for not excuting it perfectly.

In other words use the hip and shoulder at your own risk knowing if you dont get it right, you will get a holiday.

it was nto a perfect bump, even 30 yrs ago. Only difference is, 30 yrs ago there wasnt enough good footage to have a player put out for questionable acts

Bullshit. This happened 30 years ago. The commentary is illuminating. No report.

This is another reason why the game has turned to rubbish! Why actually kick the ball, take contested marks, and create contests when you can have a bunch of robots do a full court press?

Can anyone out there upload the Peter Knights v Paul Van Der Haar aerial duel from the eighties in order to educate these whippersnappers as to what a magnificent spectacle this game used to be?

Anyone?

amen

Every year many players sustain injuries as a result of a fair tackle..maybe they should ban tackling too...you might as well suspend every player who ACCIDENTALLY tackles someone above the shoulder..bloody thugs:confused:

For God Sake! GET OVER IT. Mad Max copping 3 weeks is fair. This isn't the first time it's ever happened. The physical stuff is still there just the stupid stuff is being taken out. The rule is quite clear and contact was made to the head which resulted in a broken jaw. The way I saw it I felt contact was unnecessary. I find that is a major problem with Maxwell's game he goes to give a nice hip & shoulder but always end's up giving away a free kick and in this case given 3 weeks. So again get over it!

Never mentioned Max at all, So try to stick tothe topic, or is that to hard for U... :thumbsd:
