We may not sign Roo!!

We have lost 5. We have 5 picks in the draft and we should pick up at least one in the pre-season.

At least one player is therefore likeley to go.

There were noises about Woosha not wanting older guys. Roo hasn't signed yet. Maybe his number is sadly up!

Only thing that will stop him from signing is a contractual dispute.

Comparing his 2001 form to Milli's, Hardings and Greens, i see no reason why he would be delisted before them.

he has just said himself he is close to signing a new 1 year deal, and that he WILL play for WC nect year

Very good news.

This will be Roo's last season, so I hope everyone really gets behind him at every home game next year.

This season, I was suprised to find, that there was a bit of critcism of Roo from people around me in the crowd.

He's been absolutely magnificent, and given the cub ten years of fantastic service. Hopefully he knows how much we all apreciate him.

I think Rooboy had a better 2001 then 2000. If 2002 is his last year, I hope he has some good form and remains injury free! A true champion of the club.

Roo is my all time best player ever. I have his book and I have never seen anyone better.

Having said that I must say that there were times last season that the job KJ gave him in defence was too much. He got the run around two or three times and KJ moved him off his man too late.
He still has plenty of skill but has lost his pace. This needs to be recognised and he needs to play in positions suited to his strengths.

But I would never knock him at a game, I will always be behind him!
