It really annoying when...

Did you ever think that sometimes there is nothing else that can be done?

There was a woman sitting behind me who had three lines repeated for the entire match.

"It'll be back down here in two seconds" (after a turnover in our forward line), "Man up" and "Kick it".

I believe she said at least one of these every minute - and I'm not exaggerating - for all four quarters.

I wanted so much to explain the fact was there were two men loose in defence for much of the game, so kicking it was only going to result in a turnover and then - yes - it would be "back down here in two seconds". Sometimes you just gotta hang on to the ball and wait for an option. Kicking it to contests where you are outnumbered in the blind hope that someone might beat the odds and gain possession isn't a winning strategy.

Personally, I thought our guys generally picked the right option, but sometimes executed badly. I would have liked to have seen our speedier players do a bit more attacking too - except for one brilliant piece of work by Wojo, they seemed to be very defensively minded all day. Then again after the hammering the kangas midfield gave us last time around I suppose that was warranted.

It's really annoying when the idiot sitting behind you demands that you sit down. Excuse me, after a mark in the forward line or a goal (ie. when there is no play out on the ground), it is my right to stand up and support the team, should I choose to.

This has happened to me a few times this season now.:thumbsd:

You should sit with me one day Shell. I've received many mixed reviews after some of my "friendly" comments about the opposition. Always a fun day.

Happened to me when we played that final against melbourne (And absolutely flogged them). Fair to say we stood up more then ever :D

Ok :)

Hehe, yes I've been told many times over the year (both by my mum and general members of the public) to 'tone it down'. And when I went with one of my mates to the footy for the first time, she couldn't believe how I acted. (Usually I'm pretty shy n quiet it everyday life)

Lol. Exactly!!!! Only rule is never stand up when play is on. That's not fair on everyone else and really is annoying.

Tone it down eh? Obviously some form of white line fever. Although I can't talk, I do tend to go a little crazy sometimes myself.

Shell after last weeks game I was left questioning whether I should/can sit with you again. Thank goodness you go for the cats! haha Otherwise I wouldn't be able to stand your crazy behavior. I haven't seen you go that crazy since umm I don't know. The closest would have been that day at your house watching the cats... but I was screaming too so thats ok. :)

I did feel a bit sorry for the guy behind us but whatever... as if he would have wanted to see his team LOSE anyway. :p

The missus absolutely hates it when I get stuck into the other team. Or the umpires, for that matter. I don't swear at them (hey there are kids around after all) but I quite often give them a fair bake... I have a fairly loud voice too.

But yeah I'm pretty quiet too away from the ground. Definitely white line fever. Thank god I don't (usually) bet on games - can't imagine what I'd be like if I actually had money riding on them.
