Bay 13 - Return of the King

Chapter 1 - Caketh of Norffen

As the sun was rising Caketh's eyes began to open, he awoke from his slumber a little sad, for he had just had a marvelous dream in which the evil Welchman had been slain by his hands. His sadness diminished rapidly when he looked out his window to see the sun rising over the horizon, for today was a new day and infinite possibilities awaited him.

Caketh then heard footsteps outside his room, they progressively got louder as his younger brother Paganis came running down the hallway. Paganis came bursting into his room smiling, showing his buckteeth and joyfully chanting "Today's the day, today's the day". He also had his rainbow poncho on, which he had made himself, this was before their mother/dad Stephenie/Stephen had passed away earlier that year.

Caketh was always protective of his little brother because his brother was a little slow and quite a lot weaker compared to him.

Caketh proceeded to get out of his bed and calm little Paganis down, who at this stage was trying to eat some chicken poop he had found on the floor. Caketh stopped him before he got it in his mouth and told him that if he had put that in his mouth that his mouth would be full of shit like the village idiot Plugg3r the Poster, who named so due to the absurd amount of crapped he talked about all the imaginary posts that he owned.

This was a usual morning for the two who had been living by themselves for the past 6 months after their mother passed away, they did not remember their father who left when Caketh was 2 and Paganis was only a few months old. Their house was situated on the Arden River in Norffern, it was a small house in a small town.

Caketh was eager to get ready and out the door because today he was leaving Norffen and venturing to The Coast of Gold to begin his training as a Player, this was the name give to the warriors who fought the evil minions who had been created by Welchman.
