Looks like Stephen Moulton is the man in the shadows, no more. Mortgage Lawyer. I'm sure he drives a better car than me (it wouldn't be hard), but he doesn't sound much like the long-awaited messiah. The idea of "shaking up the troubled board" doesn't appeal to me - it's had quite enough shaking this year.

I'm also not sure how his proposal to effectively spill the board fits with an AGM. I think he'd need to organise an EGM to pull that off.

Still, we'll all hear what he's got to say soon enough. Hopefully he's bringing big hitters with him, and not just his own trumpet. At least he's got plenty of banking contacts!

Moulton has been courted by Smorgon to join the board for months - as a replacement for Mathieson

The other myterious name that the article has not mentioned is Marcus Clarke

These 2 guys are not a reform ticket in any real sense - Smorgon owns them lock stock and barrel

This is just more spin in an attempt to make these guys appear to be something they are not

Interesting. Clarke just missed out on Valmorbida's position last year, so it wouldn't surprise me if he ran again.

So if we do get these two on the board, and they're Smorgon supporters, does that mean we have a united board? Just asking is all.
