Not true - if the AFL team is still in AFL finals, all players are availableCan't play SANFL unless he hit the games trigger for SANFL qualification
AFC wanted 3Good outcome. Why the AFL didn't just do this from the start giving 5 and deducting 1 for club self reporting I have no idea. Everyone would have accepted. But no, turn the whole thing into a media circus!
Would be interesting if it was part of a negotiated settlement that it did or if its not counted, any reason why tge crows wouldn't play izak in the SANFL to keep match fit if we are still rolling in the finals shpuld we lose week 1?I believe he can if AFL team still in finals? However I’m 99.999999999% sure that loophole doesn’t exist
Isn't it that the player must have played more SANFL games than AFL games and at least 3 in the second half of the season? Can't play SANFL unless he hit the games trigger for SANFL qualification
I don't think it works that way for suspensions though. We can't count games the club plays at a lower level if he wasn't playing at the lower level when the incident occurred. Can play SANFL if AFL team still alive, despite games trigger
So the phone call that supposedly went from Collingwood to the Club late Sunday afternoon was merely congratulating us on our win?I'm aware other people are probably also in-the-know and I don't want to debate the crime or the punishment in any way... But I think it needs to be said that Quaynor, Moore, and the Collingwood Football Club did not dob this in/escalate it. Blaming any of the aforementioned people is completely inappropriate. If anything they acted in the AFC and Rankine's best interests early in the process. Direct your anger elsewhere, they don't deserve it.
While we are in the afl finals there are no restrictions except 16 afl players plus madgenCan't play SANFL unless he hit the games trigger for SANFL qualification
Only if the AFL team is outIsn't it that the player must have played more SANFL games than AFL games and at least 3 in the second half of the season?
