Haven't you heard? Freo have an awesome culture now that they've made a GF. They only accept the finest of citizens into their club, such as Colin Sylvia

Sometimes these Freo boys take the rivalry too far I think. I would happily admit I would love Mundy, Fyfe, Hill in our team.. not "omg no way im gonna vomit they so gross"

Not a fan of him. Still bitter that he got McPharlin suspended for tilting his head back after a tackle. People Bag out Ballantyne for questionable tactics. Darling is not different. Not his fault that the eagles Midfield doesnt win too much of the ball.

Still as Sad as it is, if he was playing for freo, he would be our Centre Half forward with pav at the goal square. Another thing I will say is he plays better as a Chris Tarrant like player: A tall half forward flanker scoring goals from a set shot after marking the ball from lead.

Tackle? Way to rewrite history

McPharlin gave him a hip and shoulder when his head was over the ball and collected him high. Freo tried to argue at the tribunal the contact was below the shoulder and failed.

But yes, it's all Darling's fault McPharlin got suspended for sniping

you watched your mob take on North last week? He has a reputation of diving like a soccer player and leaking for free kicks.

Pav must have been learning given his effort on the weekend, some bloke must have got him with a 303 from the top deck

So that makes it Darling's fault that McPharlin chose the wrong option? You hit a player with his head over the ball high and you pay the penalty, Darling isn't to blame for McPharlin's stupidity in this case.

The incident im referring too happened in round 19, 2012.... I will let you decide if it was a head high hit

In my opinion, he whacked Darling on the shoulder and Darling Tilted his head back. Big bad Darling knocked off by Skinny McPharlin.

Why, did Pavlich dive in that game too?

To watch how much of a dog player Pav was when he scored 6 goals vs the cats.:thumbsu:

I don't have to decide it because the tribunal already did, I repeat Freo tried to argue that the hit was below the shoulder and failed.

But yeah keep going on about how McPharlin was the innocent 'tackler' in all this.

I want your opinion...

My opinion was it whacked Darling on the Shoulder and Darling Tilted his head back. I didnt mind Zac Dawsons hit on Darling as well.

Big Bad darling got knocked out by a skinny dud in Dawson.

what the hell are you arguing? he hit darling high. he hit the shoulder and his elbow copped him in the face. so what if he flung his head back? it doesn't change the fact he was hit high and the tribunal agreed with it.

Are Freo supporters really this dense? Anything above the point of the shoulder is a reportable zone which is what happened. Freo tried to argue the impact was below the point of the shoulder and failed.

Short of explaining this using sock puppets for you, in simple terms:

Hit above point of the shoulder = suspension

If you don't like it, take it up with the tribunal and their rules.

More like he whacked darlings shoulder to me.

Looks like we might have to break out the sock puppets for explaining this one

Hit above point of the shoulder = suspension

Yes McPharlin got him in the shoulder, yes it is a suspendable offense based on where the impact is.

How is that relevant to the topic? Was that the first time Freo have had a player perform well in a final?

Big Bad darling got knocked out by a skinny dud in Dawson.

Again, how is this relevant? Darling was running courageously back with the flight as Dawson cheap shotted him. Nothing to be proud of.

Again... Dawson who his a skinny toothpick compared to Darling did hip and Shoulder him but not whacked him in the head.

Huh? He clearly got him in the head. I don't even know why you've brought this up. Anyone who's running at top speed towards the ball is going to get the better of someone who's running back with the flight and can't see what's coming.
