I'll admit that's hardly a stellar highlights reel but I'm not too worried.

The late picks are always rather hit and miss and I'd rather take a shot on a 200 cm guy than another run of the mill midfielder or half-back.

Great to get him at 50, he has immense upside, possibly more than any player in the draft and was spoken about as a potential top 10 pick at certain stages throughout the year.

Sure, he needs work, but you would expect that of a young kid carrying his size and frame.

Would have rather Craig as well. Not sure about this guy - certainly doesnt move like an AFL player but has some bases to work with like height, speed and strength. Cannot kick though, definately a project.

Will have to do something about his hair for sure - hes ugly enough without a mop head.

haha ignorance, he was beaten by pretty much every ruckman in the comp, wat are they not tall aswell??? do they not need to develop?? he was picked on reputation only, hundreds of better ruckmen running around in local leagues.

A few things:

1) He was good enough to play for Metro
2) Obviously had to do something to get a reputation in the first place
3) Was pick 50, not a first round selection
4) Unless you got drafted there must have been at least one bloke on the ground worse than him
