Yeah nah. He's not going anywhere.I'm not joking, If another club comes and promises him opportunity we can't give him it is absolutely on the table.
He isn't one to be scared of a little competition. He aint going anywhere. He'll back himself to get back into the team. Opportunity will come, and we know he has the ability to take it. We are certainly not letting him go, and he would have no plans to run scared.Yeah nah. He's not going anywhere.
Opportunity always comes for the players "in form"
Whoever leaves us for not getting opportunity is because they're not playing well enough.
We are in a good space right now.

I can also see Gin and Hill playing together eventually. He isn't one to be scared of a little competition. He aint going anywhere. He'll back himself to get back into the team. At worst Ginni will be back on Anzac day. Deadly in front of goal and a very smart footballer.Okay lets revisit this in 10 weeks time
Sorry yes Bruce and agree on Pat - Dennis of course had huge issues but after he overcame them if I had to choose a bowler to save my life by taking a wicket it would be him - heart the size of the G and more courage than a wolverine.Do you mean Bruce Reid?
Pat Cummins is another - he had back issues early on.
Brece Rude as the 12th man labelled himDo you mean Bruce Reid?

Reef has had more game time than Gin this season so using that logic makes even less sense to have Gin as subWe can't discount that option. Don't know how much longer they can have Reef as the sub. Needs to play a full game at some level.
Yeah, Gin prob does need some match fitness, given he hasnt played any sort of game in 5-6 weeks.Reef has had more game time than Gin this season so using that logic makes even less sense to have Gin as sub
Confidence boosting 6 in the VFL and then the selectors will have a really difficult decisionYeah, Gin prob does need some match fitness, given he hasnt played any sort of game in 5-6 weeks.
40 goal, 2nd year small forwards are rareWe are lucky to have this kid. We really are. Talent like his doesn’t grow on trees. Hopefully brings his confidence back to the field and bring back a reminder of what made last year great. Hopefully some new celebrations.

Anzac medallist at 19, could have easily had more goals tbf. His footy IQ and smarts are just so unque.40 goal, 2nd year small forwards are rare
That's what I've been seeing at training. They have been using him in the midfield, then going forward. His biggest strength so far is goal kicking yet we haven’t been short on that front in the last two weeks. If he can go to the VFL and add a midfield string to his bow he could become a really dangerous mid/fwd. There’s non rush to bring him back, let him develop as much as possible and force his way into the side, we’ll have an absolute weapon after that.
Probably applies to all young players. He isn't the finished product, and he would know that. He's been developing different aspects to his game. The modern game changes, and so as a player you have to keep evolving too, adding more strings to your bow.I’m a Ginnivan fan, but he needs to continue developing his game and in the AFL if you’re not going forwards; you’re effectively going backwards relative to everyone else. Ginnivan’s disposals, goals, marks and frees for all dipped in the second half of 2022. He had a great season, but is not guaranteed anything going into this year with McCreery and Hill looking terrific.
Sure, but who are you demoting? With the amount of pressure Beau and Bobby put of defenders, I think you can get away with Ginni in the forward line as well.

The kids is really talented and plays with high footy IQ. The fact he kicked 40 goals in his second year wasn't an accident! Only played 5 games in his first year.
He will also get better and is still getting AFL fit at 20yo. An ascending player.
WHE!! the guys a squibSure, but who are you demoting?
