First they have their cheat ground, and now Richmond have the master of the cheat goal - Jack Higgins.

Is there nothing the AFL won't do to gift these D\Hs another tainted premiership*?

the AFL sure do have the goal line cameras worked out dont they, a brilliant shot of the other goal post totally obscuring what they need to see.

Higgins back from serious brain surgery and a flog has to put him down,he made that goal last night, incredible kick,I know the ruling was iffy but the degree of difficulty of kicking that goal from that angle was amazing.

Lol nice melt. Not sure what his history of cheat goals has to do with his brain injury. Congrats on him coming back from that, great effort.

His “goal” last night however was not.

the goal "was", the "mark" wasnt

It's at least as legit as Gary Ablett Snr's "mark" of the year - the one where he tapped the ball once, it fell at about the same speed as he did, then lightly brushed his stomach with him at no point even remotely controlling the ball

Nice return melt, in case you didnt realise Higgins doesnt make the decision on whether the ball is or isnt in play so he isnt cheating he is following the umpires direction, all he does is take the kick and damn he did that well.

I know at Essendon you like to make up your own rules so your understanding is probably a little muted..

Did they remove his brain or install one?

The game is secondary to the STORY.
AmateurFixedL = WWE.

I rest my case.

The padding is a part of the post, the ball was marked before the entire ball crossed the padding, therefore it’s a mark.
It’s weird, it’s odd, but it’s the rule.

Exactly of course if the AFLwasntvso cheap they would invest in a camera on the other side of the point post which would have given a better view.

The reviewer was in no doubt it was clearly marked before the line and I didn't hear the crowd complaining😎

Inclined to cut the lad some slack due to an injury he sustained on-field which could have possibly led to his death

Leave the blame with the nuffie Umpires, where it belongs.

Nah, the padding is clearly covering part of the ball, it’s a mark, I have no skin in this game.

Become increasingly obvious the AFL love Richmond being successful and are willing to intervene to ensure it continues.

Yep they dropped off free kick Hawthorn for a bigger club.

Of course the AFL has always realised the value of a powerful Richmond, in the 90's when the league were broke it was suggested only partly tongue in cheek that maybe they should give the Tigers a flag to save the game.

that's goal of the year Jack Higgins, he's just smarter then his opponents and has the skill to pull off the unbelievable.

Couple more years of keeping this up he'll be almost as smart as Joel Selwood. :drunk:
