I’d handover a future 1st if we can get pick 13.

But they will at least try. Another bad season next season and Nick's will get sacked.Neither are they.

It’s ridiculous, isn’t it?Honestly, two first round picks is too much for Houston but Lukosius is worth a future 1R. Carn.
The thing with Lukosius is that it’s gone past being able to talk about potential. He’s completed six years in an AFL system and is not a top-10 player at Gold Coast, moreover being dropped more than once in 2024. The suggestion of a F1R is based on the fact he is contracted but that is counterbalanced by the amount of money keeping him on GC’s list will cost them. It’s ridiculous, isn’t it?
Yes. I think Hinckley will be gone at the end of 2025. With a little bit of luck maybe earlier. Mind, I would have sacked him before now.But they will at least try. Another bad season next season and Nick's will get sacked.
Can you say the same about Hinkley?
Hopefully there's more to it if we have - and that's not just the AFL granting the exemption we currently need.Hopefully that doesn’t mean we have rolled over and just offered them a future first
Luko and Pick 13 for F1 and McEnteeLuko and Pick 13 for Future 1st and DBJ.

Or you're seriously overestimating Luko's career so far. Suns dropped him, don't really want him, have a big contract to pay out. Last year he'd have been a mid-late first. This year, after he was dropped, he's worth an early-mid 2nd rounder.A late first (or our future 1st) is the right price. Even a year ago his price would’ve been 2 x 1sts.
People are seriously underestimating how good Lukosius will be for Port.
Gotta luv this corrupt competitionIt was only two years ago when the Premier Geelong got Jack Bowes from GC along with Pick 7 and only had to give up a future third round pick. No point, just wanted to put in the reminder.
Yeah nah, Luko is massively over rated because of his draft standing and the desire of the SA public to bring our own home.A late first (or our future 1st) is the right price. Even a year ago his price would’ve been 2 x 1sts.

Agree, Ken will not be sacked his contract will simple not be re-newed.Yes. I think Hinckley will be gone at the end of 2025. With a little bit of luck maybe earlier. Mind, I would have sacked him before now.

I hope that’s the plan!Agree, Ken will not be sacked his contract will simple not be re-newed.
Today I learned my name is "No-one Here"The thing with Lukosius is that it’s gone past being able to talk about potential. We gave up pick 30ish for Watts (and it has continued to hurt us watching Fritsch be a darn good player). Lukosius is not worth a lot more than Watts was. Probably pick 20-25 given that we will be offloading some or a lot of his salary from GC’s books.
No-one here seriously expects Lukosius to dominate for us. He’ll be handy and play some nice games. Maybe he’ll have 1-2 cracking seasons. But he’s not going to produce consistent top 5 on our list level football over several years the way Houston will.
