I dont think anyone thought Luko was a solution to our problems. What we paid was ****ing criminal. Apparently everyone saw that but the club. Funny how often that happens.
Well half the people on here also thought the Suns were in the same contract position as they were with Bowes (who was going to put them massively over the salary cap) and thus thought we should get a first round pick with Lukosius.

So I wouldn't put much faith in what the people around here thought either.

Will go down as our all time worst recruit considering we gave a shit load up to get him and paying him a bomb.

Has no ticker and clearly just goes through the motions week in week out.

Basically what Jack Watts was like for Melbourne.
Can't judge him on anything this year had 0 continuity and we all know ken loves playing under done players.

He is like no different to Finlayson. Like even the same effort levels

Watts for his faults, I felt tried.

Yeah but Finlayson we gave up what, a fifth rounder? And he would be on a league average contract at best. He’s provided more value than the cos, especially early on.

Luko will be in our top 10 paid players and we gave up a top 10 pick for the pleasure of his half arsed effort. We’ll regret it for years.

The output thus far has been terrible. I would be playing Finlayson and adding Jack to the list of people who get an early start to the preseason

It's okay. He's only contracted on huge coin till the end of 2030.
He isn't. He only had 2 years at 1 million per year I believe on his contract at Suns due to back ending it, so Port have taken the contract on but smoothed it out over the entire contract. So it's not actually that big. I doubt it's 2 million over 5 years but it's definitely not 1 million per season for 5 years. Possibly been dropped to 600 or 700 per season for 5 years. or close to it. Still high but not as high as people assume.
