Im not sure its his fault. Dunno what we are trying to achieve playing Whitlock and Lukosius basically as wingmen.
Looks like the forwards coach doesn't want him, and the backline coach would rather tase his dads than have him.down back

So Dew has to try and un**** the piece of shit that is jack lukosius

I hope Carr works out what to do with him because I'm out of options.

He's a fairy with a great kick who won't take contact.
Well he can't play wing. He has not got the tank or commitment to play the position. Simple as that.

And he never will because he just doesn't want to.

I'm at a lost myself. I think they just have to bite the bullet and throw HIM back, and move Marshall back up forward and just tell him, you play here and compete hard every game or play in the 2s for the remainder of your contract.

He's not a winger. He's clearly not doing anything in the forward line to contribute enough.. Don't see how his position works in the forward line.. If he was the deep forward on Wilkie he'd lose all of the contests. He rarely leads.

I dunno.. he just needs to pull his head in.

Port could easily just put him in the 2s and replace with Zadow or anyone else at this stage.

Stomach migraine must have been worse than we thought.

I never thought I would ever see another player wearing a Port jumper who was as soft as Nathan Lonie, but unfortunately the gap between him and Luko in that department is wafer thin.

A different era of course but neither Fos Williams or Jack Cahill would have tolerated players as soft as those two, but I suspect they wouldn't have had to worry about that type of player too often because Bob McLean wouldn't have recruited them!

Maybe its third tall, Tom Jonas style. I just don't know. He's almost a net negative out there and a cool million a year. For a whole heap of years. Frightening.

He might be playing Magoos soon.

NFL punter? They stand behind the line & rarely take a hit, a perfect role for Jack.

We sat in different seats last night. On level one in the Eastern stand so go to watch Luko a fair bit whilst he was on that wing. It is funny how you can see different things from a different perspective.

The guy just lacks any intensity to anything he does. Even the way he runs back to position after a goal is like it is slow motion. Then there are the contests where he just stands by idle. No urgency, no determination, no clear intent to anything.

I am sure he is like that with everything. I imagine that at home doing the dishes or making a sandwich he would just be totally slow and languid in the same way he is on the field. Maybe that is the meaning of the burning laundry image above. I am not sure that telling him to toughen up or go back to the SANFL will make any difference to who he is as a person.

I am not too sure what we do with him. "Throw him in the ruck!'??

Just lower expectations? He is still more impactful than Wehr, Watkins, Mead, Mackinley, Liddy, McEntee, Frank the tank. Maybe we just have to accept that despite all his attributes, his skills, his physique etc he is just player 20-23 on the list.

The fact we are paying 3-4 times that value and gave a first rounder - doesn't change anything now.

I can't believe we recruited him. Did anyone go and watch him play beforehand?

Are you telling me we might have a forward who is a reliable and long set shot at goal? Nah, can't be true.

Narrator: “He was right. It wasn’t true.

Has anyone got footage handy of this one?

5 goals, 5 goal assists and a Brownlow Vote against Tom Stewart and co.

Knowing our luck, it was probably the final game the recruiting team scouted in person before making its recommendations to add him to the team that finished 2nd after the minor round.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ — break the bank if you have to!”

and won't play defence.

I can't believe how slow he looked yesterday.
The piece of play that really irritated me IIRC was on the wing, I think Lachie Jones did a lot of work to get the ball back and even shepherded for Luko who got the ball, his eyes went googoo-gaga and he blindly torped into the F50 where a Saint, probably Wilkie, cleaned up the errant kick.

Yup, think that was the one I was thinking of too.

He needs to be dropped - plain and simple. That absolute lack of effort is unacceptable. It was one of the laziest games i've seen.

His whole career has been based around potential, how anyone thinks you can build a successful team around him is delusional.

It’s not just him the overall strategy has been poor recently.
I seriously have no trust in our recruiting team, we are really at the crossroads now.
Yes it’s easy to pick up players like Dougie it’s an obvious choice.
What we bring in with these high profile players will go more to determine our future.

I want to see Josh Carr and not Hinkley work with the List Management team.

I don't think Carr will be looking to get Soldo but he will be wanting young talent from the draft or trading.
