You know how these things tend to pan out - one player has a down week and the other stars then it attracts the usual gloating peanut comments.

Try to think big picture with the comparison - it’s not a week to week thing.

Surprised Macrae is winning so easily - he’s played with a heap less attention on him from his opponents than Merrett has. Both guns but I reckon Merrett has a slight edge.

Both are probably the two best ball users for inside mids in the comp (would be them or the Bont). Merrett a touch more damaging with the 6.3 i50s but Macrae gets it more. About even if you ask me and both are top 10 players in the comp
