Blues don't have the picks to replace the players they are losing or delisting.
Elijah Holland's been asked to look elsewhere and is a HF.
It's a dirt cheap way of adding depth in a position of need.

Correct. Eagles focused on the future not Jack.
If a team wanted cheap depth for now then he makes sense.
Eagles spent the season either developing players or seeing if they are good enough to retain.
Jack's papers were stamped before the season started.

Anyone watch Shirvo play last night in the legends game? That's Petch unfortunately.
Elite pace but doesn't impact games at all. He's 26 and has played 14 WAFL games this year and 2 AFL games, both as the sub. 28% game time in one and 37% in the other for a grand total of 7 touches 1 goal.
I always liked him and hoped he could develop into something because he does have one genuinely elite AFL attribute in his pace but if you are being left out of this current WC side in your prime the writing is on the wall. We've been playing 18 year olds and other young players that with all due respect probably won't be on the list in another year or two. But not JP21.
Good luck to him if he gets a second chance somewhere and finds a niche I won't begrudge him but I just don't see it.
