Said it once and I will say it again. Riewoldt is going very well for a 20yr old playing the key forward post in a struggling side. He is the focal point up forward with basically small leading forwards as his only support.

Not sure what supporters expect of him, no wonder we burn out youngsters. Dropping the mark was a big blunder, but just ease up on the boy FFS.

Must just have a two season confidence problem then:confused:

More information please.

He's the main target of the forward line at 20 years old and still learning the game.

What better does he have to offer down back? Nothing.

Who is the better player to play at FF? No one.

Agree 100%. What's the name of the guy in your avatar? I remember him from when I was a kid.

Regardless of his age/development and lack of potential other forwards on our list I honestly think this kid would be a gun defender.
Leppitsch was touted as a CHF or FF and played forward for his first 2-3 seasons and then became one of the Lions most important players playing in the backline in their premiership side.
IF Jack improves his kicking and gains the illusive confidence I hear all about from this board he may become an adequate forward.

This my opinion as I cannot see him become the forward others hope he will become.

16 possessions, 8 marks, 3 tackles and 3 goals 1 not good enough for a 20 year old forward with little to no support? It may be your opinion, but I'm telling you your opinion is shit.

Thanks for sharing... Sorry for taking time out of your day:rolleyes:

Oh.... my.......god.

Let's just throw Nahas, Morton, Post and everyone else down in defence while we're at it too.

:)Exactly Barnzy ... some people have no idea.

If people can't see that - in time - with Post and Vickery to handle the key slots - Riewoldt as the third tall, Morton as a mid-size option and Nahas and aresting on-baller as the small - our forward line won't be good, they can f*** the hell off.

The likes of Post, Vickery and Nahas have played less than 20 games between them and you'd hardly call Riewoldt and Morton veterans.

We're a work in progress ... I ain't necessarily concerned about not winning games (though today would have been nice and we should have) ... it's all about the future for now and I'm liking what I see.

Riewoldt to the backline because of one spilled mark ... garabage!!

what crap:mad:

The way he attacks the ball and throws himself into the contest is the opposite you want a defender to do. A defender needs to be thinking fist first then a mark.

Jack has the natural ability not many have at leaping into packs and coming up with the ball. When he gets his conversion rate up he will be one of our future stars.

Ok Sorry guys... Your right and I am wrong

riewoldt aint going to be able to kick a winning score, he gets more grubbers than set shots. he might be handy in the back line.

Doesn't this tell you that you are wrong when krustyman agrees with you?
One mistake, he played awesome for a 20 year old KPF, put it in perspective FFS
Can anybody really name a young KPF that is performing better then Riewoldt atm?
Do not think so

Hansen from the Roos was taken in the same draft except at number #3 not #13. He has done SFA.

I started this thread a couple of weeks ago BTW.. My opinion thats all.

How many Richmond players have trouble kicking goals?.
Jack certainlt aint on his pat malone.

THAT'S the real concern, time on .... it ain't jack, it's the collective group.

Virtually zero confidence on my part with any of Jack, Vickery, Post, Hislop, Nahas, White, Tambling and most the midfielders to convert from even the easiest of angles and distances.

It's collective!!!

Actually he was probably our best player as a CHB before getting injured at the start of this season.

Needs to be played back.
