I’m not sure if this has been done for Sincs yet.
Just he was the first of our rookies/late picks of this group to really get going. Led the way for guys like Roma, Wilkie, Byrnes, Highmore even Hind etc etc.

He was a gem from the draft and from what I understand only one other team was interested in him (Collingwood) and it’s been inspired. It came easily initially as a small forward but has had to reinvent himself multiple times, into a winger and then a mid and now to half back.

His one weakness has always been winning the ball and it’s now mitigated at half back. I would love to see him take kick ins but his year has been insane and I could see him finnishing too 5 even too 3 in the Bnf. I hope he makes it to another hundred if not more. Can see a couple all Australians coming his way as well. So glad he’s ours.

One of my favourite players, finally starting to demand the ball allowing him to showcase his skills.

Jack should have been drafted but his lack of 100% commitment to football hurt him. Gary Ayers is a very astute judge of talent and offered Jack a contract at port after a few games as a top up from the oakleigh chargers. A diehard saint who’s grandfather played for the saints it’s fantastic to see a player who’s invested in the club succeed.

I love watching Jack play, his ball use and decision making are elite, a true utility now his defensive game has taken off.

Thought he was an ok player that would never really take us anywhere.

He's proved me wrong.

Love the way he takes the game on now. He steps up and takes responsibility for important moments in games. Combine that with his skill set, and he's turned into a hugely important part of our team.

He really is one of those players you'd love to have more than one of. I'd love to have him play in the mids but don't want to lose him off the back line. His ability to pick up the ball at pace below his knees is Robert Harvey like. Perhaps an inside outside mid where he can get a run at the ball could take him next level like it has for Rory Lairde.

I was surprised and delighted he hit another level this year, hopefully he gets a haircut one day though.
No, then he loses all his powers.
let it grow, let it grow…. 😂

The way he quite often changes the direction of the kick at seemingly the last moment to go across his body and pick out a man in space suggests his ability to scan the options is as good as anybody else in the game.

Also can receive in congestion and do quick pop up kicks that allow a teammate to mark which eases the pressure of moving the ball forward.

Very durable. Big tank. Stays focused in matches. Physicality has improved through the roof since he first played. And a genuinely brave footballer.

Sincs will always be underrated by many but is one of my favourite players. May not be the first picked but will never be the first dropped. Will play 250+ I reckon.

Start of the year when we were doing our best 22 squads, a number left him out so here's to Sinclair owning his new position in the back half and becoming such an important member on game day. Would have to be top six in our most important players.

Best ball user we have, best football I.Q too i reckon, he's always looking to help out in every contest he can get to, and always plays team first. Love his work.

We certainly missed him when he went out.

Thought of Sincs as I just posted on Dmak and like Dmak Sincs has had an amazing turnaround in his game. Would have to be up there in our b & f. From quite a vanilla player with nice skills, he seems to have really got his confidence up. He has a really cool head and uses his wheels to take the game on and break lines and he then has the finess to make a good decision and execute. He has always had the skills and decision making, but I think it's his confidence to take the game on that has really elevated him to the next level. He has also improved his defensive game. But the ability to break lines is a great skill which unsettles the opposition's zone and creates overlap.

Unfortunately a lot of our guys did seem to go backwards this year for some reason - Long, Coff, etc, but Sincs has taken it up a notch. Hopefully for him and guys like Steele and King who also have taken their game up a notch, a few of their team mates do too next season
