Here...
Daniel Jackson, Richmond, has been charged with a Level Two striking offence against Chris Knights, Adelaide Crows, during the third quarter of the Round 14 match between Richmond and the Adelaide Crows, played at AAMI Stadium on Saturday June 30, 2012.

In summary, due to his previous poor record, his one-match sanction is increased to two matches, even with an early plea.

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Adelaide Crows Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He has an existing bad record of seven matches suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty by 50 per cent to 187.50 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He also has 94.66 demerit points carried over from within the last 12 months, increasing the penalty by 282.16 points and a two-match sanction. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 211.62 points and a two-match sanction.

Nothing we can do, can't argue with intentional, low impact and body contact. Had it been anyone else, an early guilty plea would have cleared any matches.

What evidence can a medical report provide for a low impact tummy tap?

FFS Crows are soft. Having said that DJ should pull his head in, we still need his tagging role and strong body.

Are you sure thats the one? That is Chris Knights so you're probably right. The one I'm thinking of was at a stoppage, I think? Perhaps the camera angle has confused me.
It was earlier but you can't see it from the other angle. This was taken 28 minutes into the 3rd quarter replay.

LMAO....yep this loss will be heavily felt and I can see that you had to think long and hard with the change..
Jackson is very underrated here. He does have severe deficiencies with the ball in-hand is defensive work is very impressive and he gives 100%, more than what we can say for some of our players. White is probably the most suited to Jackson's role and his form in the VFL is more than enough to warrant selection. White will be given the job of Grimes against Melb and Harbrow or Brennan against the Suns and atleast we'll know he'll give it a crack.

complete bulls**t. he was giving cotchin some space to run. look at other people get tagged and look at what their teammates do for them to get a run at the ball.
scumbag adelaide needs some big boy pills.
You're allowed to block the opposition, you're not allowed to punch them in the gut while doing so.

You and many others need to understand that until we have players who dont have severe deficiencies with the ball in-hand, that have impressive defensive we will be forever wondering why and the answer is in the stats...his defensive work has been good over the last few weeks, yes, but his stats during that time have been down and that is what we need, players who have severe deficiencies with the ball in-hand, not to get it 30 times in a game where we need the opposite..
I mean put youself down the field and you see Hackson get the ball and look up what would you do? Knowing that if you break on the lead, you might run into the stands and Hackson will still be looking for who to give it to, or if he does have this vision sent to him from GOD and actually puts the ball onto the boot, then you need to work out where it is going and if you are lucky he might shank it and the lead that you thought wasnt going to be honoured, the ball hits you on the chest.

Players like Hackson are liablities when we play top notch contenders on a mission..

probably some evidence that it really wasnt very hard at all and just got him in the right spot???
i guess we could have put in a fraud report and attempted to get it upgraded to Medium. not that i'd expect any clubs to consider anything like that.

You are ******* kidding me surely??????
It's probably the same impact that Ballantyne did on Newman, hit a player in the guts while they weren't expecting it. We all called for his head, same should apply to Richmond players.

What's underrated about a guy who you acknowledge has severe deficiencies with the ball in his hand and is going to be missing for the umpteeenth time in the last few years, again letting his teammates down. Plain DUMB footballer! Bring back Whitey!!

Jacko is playing good footy, but as always he has let himself down yet again.

its pissweak and stupid, but its there. A stupid little rib tickler that would have done SFA, but its enough to cop a whack. Even stupider is Jacko did it with his priors and loadings, so whats a pissweak tap is now worth 2 weeks.

Really angry at him for this shit. its stupid and selfish play. We need his leadership for our younger kids out on the field, and he lets them and himself down when he cops weeks for idiot stuff like this

I don't even think that Jackson actually hit him. More that they collided and Knights copped it in the ribs. If there is no danger in him getting rubbed out for anything more than 2 weeks then I would challenge it.
