Hey guys just wanted to get fellow tiges supporters perspectives on where they see jackos future on field?

we all know hes one of the fittest guys at the club, very quick and a good strong size abt 6.2 - 6.3. Lots of ppl feel hes a future midfielder bc of his strong body.

Personally I see him as a clement type defender. All his assets would be very useful aginst the mark williams, brad johnson cameron bruce type forwards, basically what clement does for the pies.

thoughts?

i think he would be much more valuable as a midfielder

I guess this will all depend on how big Jackson ends up. He is 18 and may still grow a little taller. If he does that, then CHB will be the go. Otherwise, a big-bodied midfielder.

I think he will end up with a few more dimensions than Clement

Anywhere for coburg for the rest of the year, then maybe back flank next year for us

Winning the midfield is the key to winning matches. Every player should be recruited with a view of either being a key position player or a starting midfielder. The guys who don't quite make it end up on the flanks and in the pockets.

Jackson should be aiming for the midfield. Ideally he replaces Johnson in 2-4 years and becomes Coughlan's partner in winning the clearances. If that doesn't work out there is always the fall-back option of the back-pocket.

Im hoping he will develop into a Center Half Back.

Currently 188cm's.

Hunter, Adam (WCE) - 190cm
Maguire, Matthew (Saints) - 190cm
Thornton, Bret (Carlton) - 192cm
Harley, Tom (Geelong) - 192cm
Croad, Trent (Hawthorn) - 190cm
