North had inquired about hopper. Hopping to package up pick 2 and 20 for Kelly and Hooper. A fair deal and hopefully GWS do right by both kids as they want to return to Melbourne and both are North supporters.

I think Kelly is worth more than pick 2 and 20. 2 x 1st round picks minimum. Pick 2 and a pick between 10-15. Hopper is worth a pick between 8-15 also. So you're not even in the ball park yet.

Given Treloar's form last year, which is what we paid pick 2 for, hell no. Treloar this year isn't worth pick 2.

So is Kelly worth 2016 Treloar+Pick 10?

Also I assume you did the math regarding points and came up with pick 2, did u count the pick 27 that went our way?

Both will nominate north. #2 is enough for kelly as he will accept norths contract offer. The threat of PSD also looms bit it won't come to that. 20 and maybe the pick North get for Goldstein with GWS's 3rd coming back will be enough for Hooper.

Neither will nominate North. PSD is no threat. The best North can hope for is a half decent pick for Goldstein, who could potentially be dropped for Daw this week.

Would clubs normally have over a million in salary cap just sitting there at the end of the trade period in the hope somebody that has no interest in playing for them will be available for free?

Collingwood paid pick 7 & pick 7 for Treloar. GWS drafted Kelly at pick 2 and is miles better than Treloar. It's not an auction but it's not a firesale either. North will have to trade Goldstein to get a better pick then 20. I can't see why Kelly would go to North for only a million most clubs could free up that amount for a player like Kelly. I hope Adelaide have a crack if Lever and McGovern decide to leave. I would think Hopper is a better chance to come to Adelaide and I hope it happens.
