We are going to Field a Team of Just Midfielders
We're going to build a 22 of inside midfielders who will huddle the ball in at every contest and walk the ball in a circle to the goal square whilst handballing to one another and subsequently missing straight in front

The almighty Trade Whisperer reckons we're very confident he's coming to the Pies

I would laugh if this happens as he is the last type of player collingwood need to trade in. Would be hine imitating 'ken bruce has gone mad' stuff.

and Lot of Collingwood Fans would be Crying

Hine is no Certainty to Stay

At this point, the only person who knows is Jacob himself, maybe his manager. Hell, maybe he doesn't even know yet. So much can change right up until a deal is done. He will be and deserves to be in demand, that's for sure.
Very true.
But
This place would be boring if no one spoke about it wouldnt it.

I really cant see Carlton getting him.

Hopper for Breust? Fair or close to it? Fills an obvious need for both clubs; we get a good young mid, Giants get a gun small forward.

Not that I think the trade will ever happen.

It's not like we do not have an All-Australian small forward on our list already...

I think more than one small forward fits into the team though. Bruest has great defensive pressure we could still use in my view, while still presenting a threat.. Issue would be the impact on Daniel Loyd in particular whose AFL prospects would take a dive I think.

Geelong would probably need to get a third club involved or give up a decent footballer. As a Carlton supporter I'd be happy to get involved and nab a Guthrie or Duncan type.

Geelong and GWS are two teams who get stuff done. They both have a very similar logic when it comes to trading.

If he wants Geelong and Geelong want him, they will all come to an arrangement, no question in my mind.

Still believe he's Blues bound (if he leaves). Too much noise from reliable posters on our board to think otherwise. Though who knows, he may stay.

I have no information at all. I am just stating that if he picks Geelong it will get done. Carlton posters are questioning if Geelong can get it done.

Ahh I see. These days, if a player declares a club and that club wants said player - it gets done 95 times out of 100. So I'd say IF Hopper leaves - for Blues, Cats or otherwise it will get done, yes.

and Collingwood and GWS don't have the Best Relationship with Trading
