Oh dear. I was joking about the Delusional Pearlers thread. But I've gone and had a look and indeed the comments about Hurley training with us have been quoted and posted there. :drunk:

They don't need any posters from other clubs input. They're able to fill that thread with their own thoughts and comments. :drunk::drunk:

Do they know about Heppell yet. That will really blow them away. He has gone to America to take up their footy because they aren't liked to WADA.

Heppell being part of a football tv show surely would be news to WADA.
Don't understand how this can possibly be allowed. Just clear cut should be out til 2019.

Hurley training with us though..... All good;)

Isn't the rumour that the Tiges have offered Hurley 900k a year for 5 years?

The other one I heard today was that the Hawks are going for broke with O'Meara.

While I allow some leniency in the thread's content, this is a thread about Carlisle and yet the recent discussion involves trolling gullible Essendon fans and is not about Jake. The piss take has been taken - now please keep it relevant or more deletions will result - or worse.

1. Chris Heffernan and Paul Brashner banned for life from AFL administration of any kind
2. Players to publicly admit they have no idea what they took and that the club misled them
3. Jobe to hand back his Brownlow
4. Full disclosure about who knew what and who was signing off on the bills to Charter, Alavi etc
5. Full disclosure on the exact nature of the agreement of the payment to the Weapon

That would be a good first step.

This pretty much sums it up for me.

It's not about retribution or anger or whatever.

All I'd like to see is the truth come out and then deal with it acordingly

Not losing sleep over it, but not moving on either.

Complacency and not asking the hard questions is what allows society's parasites to get away with what they do.

Only the truth will ensure that this doesn't happen again.

Keep an eye out for Carlisle at stkilda games this year. He wants to make a real effort to be supportive to the club and it's fans. Integrate himself nice and early for next year aswell
But Purple told us he hasnt made any contacts at the club and is suing us.

Who to believe, who to believe

Ahhh good old purple. The parasite of the industry

Carlisle is suing the club over the $2.70 he has to pay to reserve a seat for the Collingwood game.
That outrage is so last month Kosi. I've moved on to more topical and irrelevant outrages.

This explains why he was on crutches in the Snapchat photo discussed earlier.

Getting himself cherry ripe for when he returns. :D He'll be in a better head space when he returns too I'd imagine. His year out could actually benefit our club hugely in the end.

Carlisle Drug Claim ‘Ridiculous’Posted: 21 March, 2016 by Triple M Footy

Triple M Footy’s Damian Barrett has rubbished Jake Carlisle’s claim that the stresses of the Essendon doping scandal led him to use recreational drugs.

A video of Carlisle emerged on social media last October showing him snorting a white powder.

He was subsequently suspended for the first two matches of this season by his new club St Kilda (a ban that has been superseded by the year-long ban he received from the Court of Arbitration for Sport in January) and his contract was revised heavily.

The Age
reported on Monday that Carlisle’s lawyers made a link between the drawn-out Essendon saga and Carlisle’s off-season drug use.

But Purple was having none of that.

“I don’t think I’ve heard anything more ridiculous,” Damo told Triple M’s Rush Houron Monday.

“I’m not one to naturally defend Essendon on any aspect of this case but for Carlisle to say that, ‘I took illicit drugs based upon Essendon giving me potentially performance-enhancing ones,’ it’s a pretty long bow as far as I see.

“He’s entitled to claim legally but I wouldn’t be using that as a reason when it’s all said and done, I reckon they’ve got enough to deal with and just deal with the facts of the matter and they’re as bleak as they can be anyway from an Essendon perspective.”

Purple also told JB and Billy that Essendon are about to be hit by at least 34 legal cases from past and present players arising from their ill-fated 2011-12 supplement program.

“I don’t think I’ve heard anything more ridiculous,” sad that at this point he's not even listening to the shit he says

That's ridiculous, how dare they call it "enforced time off", we all know its a "Heppel Gap Year".

I thought the players weren't allowed at official club functions that included training and games?

not allowed to be apart of official club functions. i think they are allowed to go watch the footy as far as i was told. could be wrong?

Literally took me 5 seconds to look it up and you are indeed correct. He should be sitting directly behind the bench!
