Jake King's tackling and forward pressure tonight was brilliant. Does not get enough plaudits for it IMO. He adds a lot of ferocious grunt to the team and his unique traits (eg: getting stuck right into the opposition after a passage of play) often go unnoticed.
This man BLEEDS Yellow and Black and wears his heart on his sleeve.

loved the way jakey celebrated after the game almost did a lap of honour clapping all the fans in the crowd and really reving up the tiger fans it was great playing great footy jake and we are all the better for it

Was enormous tonight. Continues to re-define his game and what l love about him is he listens. You can tell that he bleeds for the team and goes out there to do a role and to do it to the best of his ability. If we had 22 blokes, with the commitment of Kingy... we'd be premiers year-on-year. Talent and class gets you only so far... its nothing with out commitment.

I love the way Jake King goes about playing. He is never afraid to put his body on the line to win the ball. He kicks some important goals for us as well.

And what I loved was when he tumbled off Stanley's shoulders he was back up and had flung himself into the next contest in a split second. Stanley continued to be a statue.

I really think his skills are underrated. They have improved significantly over the last few years (which i didnt think would happen with him) and the umpires are rewarding him as opposition players are falling all over him.
