If we walk away with Sloane, Dangerfield and Aish after this season we need to build a David Noble statue
Might just be another man in this whole process who needs a statue and I believe Dangerfield's grandpa is working on it. ;)

Roo is going to build a statue for Noble?

Between being a father of about 37...I dunno I lost count, a board member, media personality, owner of many businesses...when is he going to find the time?

Yeah I guess the current AFL market favours the team that is gaining the player - not the team that is losing the player.

However - I just don't see how is value has gone anything but up since Brisbane drafted him at 7. Draft picks all come with some risk - but its obvious he was a top 10 pick in that draft (some can argue should have gone top 5). He then comes out and plays 21 games at a very good standard for an 18 year old.

Would happily give up our first and 2nd rounder for him.

I don't believe we would do that. Of course if we trade to get other picks then we might give a first round pick but surely not a 1 and a 2. He would be a great asset for us but we have to find players to fill our defence and if what everyone is saying on here and JJ is correct we need to find another key forward.

Jars said on Radio this afternoon that Aish is likely going to Carlton or Collingwood. That pretty much confirms that Collingwood aren't interested.
I love how he thinks he has an idea about whats going on.

My guess is Aish has decided to leave, but he has 5 months to make up his mind where to.

Why do these idiots persist. Carlton aren't a giant anymore. Someone tell jars that sticks has retired. Why not just say saint kilda instead and go full-****** (tropic thunder link)

The MMM afternoon radio show is seriously seriously bad. Rarely listen to it but whenever I do, I just have to laugh. 5AA isn't amazing, but MMM is just amateur hour.

Why anyone would go to Carlton is beyond me. Unless they offered him stupid money he'd be stupid to go there. Rebuilding for the next 5 years?

Sometimes it's just not possible. If we keep both Danger and Sloane AND have the pick to pluck Aish ahead of Vic interest, then we've had a terrible season. Which puts into doubt keeping Danger and Sloane, although you haven't mentioned your favourite in Douglas. Perhaps he could roll back to Vic and that pick find its way to BNE.

Don't forget aish needs to agree to go there, wherever it is. Imagine how bad it will be when players get traded against their will. Every club will troll each other to drive up their price...

I doubt there's a single decent player who has gone anywhere other than exactly where they want to go. Nick Stevens included. At least once he saw the counter offer that is.

That doesn't really make any sense.

Aish will choose a club. That club will give their first. The end.

I think all of the noise over Treloar and Shiel means that the Vic clubs are very unsure if they're seriously in the running for Aish (and maybe Danger).

Treloar and Shiel? How many Vic clubs do you think there are? If he is prepared to go to a Vic club and 6 is on the table against our 12, then that'll be that. The only way that we'll have a pick in that vicinity is if we have a crap year or lose a good player ourselves. If Aish selects SA as his only destination then fair enough, but if he just wants to head south and Victoria is an option because his mates are there, then the club's ability to get a deal done comes into play.

He has to be ours to lose.

Hopefully Fagan & Walsh actually make him feel like he's wanted and valued here - unlike we did with Polec.

 IF ...Aish is homesick ....how does going to Victoria solve that .....and are people saying Brisbane would underpay Aish compared to a Melbourne club

Bunkum !@!@ ....if Aish leaves Brisbane it will only be to an Adelaide club .......and realistically Adelaide offers greater opportunities

I agree KE

Why do people even bother quoting Jars when he's only trying to add shock value to the show, with no credibility behind him
