So I heard this James Blunt song on the radio today.
You are beutiful or something, sounded ok. So I go home download the song, turns out to be ********. Anyway what I'm getting at is
at about
1:46 in the song I SWEAR he says
" She could see from my face that I was fking high"

Now I don't know if me and him are talking about the same kind of 'high'

anyway discuss.

It's too easy to knock the guy for writing 'pap' as some call it. Cynical, cheap shots like the ones on this thread are as predictable (and cynical?) as say ...... James, lol.

Thing is, this sort of experience DOES happen. You don't have to be a true romantic or love-sick puppy to have felt it, either.

Other songs on the album may be better, imo, but I did relate to this. If you haven't experienced this sort of feeling, and remembered it, then you just don't have a soul, or you just aren't old enough, yet.

I'm glad it reached out to somebody. Personally, I can't identify with such shallow lyrics.
