he's probably hung himself after aaron finch's run in the national team.

he was right (and wrong) about patto. right that he is a freak. wrong that he should've been picked in that ashes series. but blind freddy could see that pattinson was a prodigious talent from a long time ago.

just can't wait for cummins to get his body together, get some first class cricket behind him and get the two to join forces. some serious potency there with a lot of firepower to support them - siddle, starc, bird, ncn, faulkner, richardson, cutting, hazlewood. that is ****ing dynamite in anyone's mind, even if 2 or 3 them don't come on as expected.

using february 25 (20 posts) as his average daily use of twitter, i'm guessing he discovered twitter about the same time he bailed on bigfooty.

he reminds me of a bloke at my brothers cricket club, funnily enough nicknamed "The General". this guy is about 5'3 has more theories and suggestions on cricket than einsten had on relativity, the majority of which aren't even worth listening too. But in reality he has no idea what he's talking about and when you put out on the field he's got even less of a clue.

to be fair to the gov he does talk some sense from time to time (except for his borderline obsession about aaron finch)... but he definitely struggle with eloquency, and i imagine he doesn't have great real life people skills (much like the aforementioned general)

cummins potential is massive. but i don't want to see him anywhere near the upcoming ashes series. definitely not the away series, and i'd be reticent about the home ones. lets just get his body right. build him up in the nets over winter, and get him lining up for nsw round 1 sheffield shield and play out the summer. he's still only 19 (maybe just turned 20. born 1993) so we have so much time with this guy.
