I’m sure they do. I’m also sure they remember him missing a big chunk of footy with a foot injury. Anything over 2 years has to have an injury clause in it.Polly will stay but he must be laughing all the way to the bank with the amount of interest from other clubs.
Got a feeling Port don't rate him as high as they should.
The Pole Cat could be our B&F this year.

Polec has made no indications he's leaving, but there is a definitely a divide between what he (or his management) thinks he's worth and what the club think he's worth. I think he'll stay but certainly not over the line.
I really don't think it's the money being offered, it'd be the length of the contract just like Wines.
I don't.May have been said elsewhere already, but a friend of mine attended the recent italian night and was sat on polec's table.
Just saying, polec wasn't very shy in making it known that he'd been offered 750 or so elsewhere. This friend is a carlton man (but has a low football care factor), so I do believe him.
Totally understand, but if you knew him, you would. Not saying he definitely isn't talking crap, but if is, it's totally out of character. He just doesn't football. His motivation to attend the Italian night is 99.9% Italian, not footy.I don't.
Fair enough but if true I'd find it stupid he would tell some random stranger what he'd been offered elsewhere. Truly dumb.Totally understand, but if you knew him, you would. I'm referring to my mate who attended Italian night where polec was on his tableI thought he was Polish?

We should start talking up Amon. Maybe North will fall for that.
Yeah don’t agree. Injury cloud still hanging over his head, and if he left and we had a 750k salary cap slot we could find someone equally or perhaps even more influentialDeserves 750. Is better and more influential than several players on more.

Good player. Would be massively missed but not throwing the bank at him. If we don’t get a home town discount then let him walk.
Why not the middle ground of 3 years fixed, with an automatic 4th year if plays enough games, with similarly for 5th. Should give all parties what they are after. His injury history is a valid point.
Let me put it this way - at full strength, injury free, he is a 750+ player.
