Absolutely, but Dixon is more important by sheer fact of our horrid list management re KPFs. We literally don't have another power forward on our list.

Polec and Hoff have been clearly our two best players this year.

not possible firstly because to do that you had to force a few other players let's say 'veteran' players. In such a short notice it would look knee jerking and very disrespectful to the other players who had to sacrifice to fit for polec. The damage of doing this is far worse than losing polec. Its better to let a top player go than to destroy the fabric of a club. Think of mcdonald from melbourne ala 2010, they moved on 3 players around 30 in order to usher in the next generation and what happened after was that it destroyed the morale of the club and they went complete shit due to no leadership for the next 5 to 6 years. Only now have they just recovered form that.

I feel like we have a premiership list so given that, i'd just pay the man. If we lose him and don't replace him we may as well trade away half the side and go hard at the rebuild when we have the likes of Lukosius on the board.

However I don't think we can win a flag with this coach locked in for 3 more years, so we're probably better off going for a hard rebuild.
