I like Dumont. As you say though he has established himself more this year.

Don't know much about Durdin. He is tall which is a start

You've got a few talls coming through though, so Durdin wouldn't be as much of a priority as a well-skilled outside mid or someone of that mould.

As SB said, Durdin would be steak knives, he's not a bad player, but he's not established yet.

Has been named in our top 3 VFL bests on 4-5 occasions this year. Can also rotate in the ruck. Went down with an ankle and his year is done.

Has Polec been that great this year that he could take out the B&F? His last 4 or 5 weeks have been good but his start to the year was patchy.

His first 6-7 weeks were borderline AA-level.

It’s a strange one though, all parties have said they expect him to stay (Polec, manager, Hinkley and club).. it’s strange that it would take this long if that was the case.

I’m hoping all this is just BS and it’s Polec just getting more money out of port

I think the saints and north are the two front runners. I dare say we’d be looking at getting either sides first rounder.

If north - let’s say 10ish for Polec. I’d do that.
If saints - pick 5 for Polec + a second rounder.

Plenty of options with picks. Don’t crucify me for the the above. It would prob start around there.

I think rozee is the one we would want to replace Polec in the long term. Hel be there at 5-7 I reckon

You shouldn't knock back giving this kid a home if it didn't cost you much. His problem is that we have the blokes I already mentioned and Ben McKay ahead of him at our club. McKay would be playing FB at a few other AFL senior sides at the moment. He's that good.

Durdin also has good footy smarts. Is the backline general of our VFL team, making sure blokes structure up etc..
