Besides, it was reported on TFS by Barrett, and we all know he likes to 'expand' the story a little.

You feeling ok, GM?
As good as he was in the position, he is NOT to be played as backup ruckman ever again.
He also said they know he can play CHB and when was the last time he did that?Well on One week at a time Clarko said it is good knowing we have the option of throwing Ruff into the Ruck so take that as you will, but i dont want him in the Ruck any more...
Most certainly was a coincidence. It most certainly was a ruck injury. That achilles was definitely weakened by the extra springing required to ruck. It's no coincidence whatsoever that he'd played for 3 or 4 years with virtually no injury worries, then gets a season ending one the first year he plays second ruck. He needs to be kept out of that position.

Which completely fails to explain why ruckmen all over the league aren't snapping their achilles tendons left, right and centre.
Unless one chooses to believe that ruckmen are a special breed, evolved with highly developed achilles tendons far beyond the capacities of normal humans.
I'm sorry, it doesn't stack up logically; it's the purely human pattern of learning, where two events, closely related in time, tend to be associated in a cause/effect relationship.
