He will be here in 2005, thank god.
Amen.

Has injury interupted pre-season last year and he was behind the 8 ball from there on. Was very stiff not to get selected a couple of times and even more surprising was his omition from Nigel Smart's last year.

We will keep him on and thank god for that. One of the most courageous players going around. Makes my back 6 every time.

Re: Jason Tourney?

Torney's 2004 was wrecked by both injury and a strange reluctance by Ayres to play him.

He's a very good player at his best - definitely in the best 22 and definitely part of the back 6.

All being well injury wise, expect him to have a good 2005.

Yes definately missed his hardness last year

Yes I could never understand why he wasnt playing... I rate him highly and hope he grabs his position and never lets it go

As Stiffy said = "amen"

& some of his team mates could do with a dose of his courage & his fearless attack on the ball.

I agree totally.

Should always be in our team unless injury prevents.

We certainly missed his (& Simon Goodwin's) courage & desire at the ball.

I hope they both have an injury free 2005. :)

Has always been hot and cold... hopefully he swings around and finds the form he began 2003 with.
I actually reckon JT is one of the more consistent unspectacular players at AFC & 2004 was more about a lack of opportunity / injuries. Should be picked in our 22.

him and begely both deserve to be in starting 22
Geez, I'm agreeing with crazy that JT & Begley should be our 1st choice HBF's.

Agreed

Torney is a quality player!

Begley and Torney should be our starting HBF's

HB Line: Begley McGregor Torney

FB Line: Bassett Rutten Hart

Don't dislike that line-up at all.

Although Beggley would probably be on the same flank as Hart RHBF.

Saw Torney the other night, he looks very fit. I will say the following:
Torney>Massie
Torney>Begley
Torney>Doughty

Torney must be in the starting back 6. Mind you as a Panther supporter I'd be more than happy for him to be playing SANFL regularly (it is no coincidence that the Panthers best form was while he was in the side and the losses mounted after he left!)

My back six:
Torney Rutten Bassett
Hart McGregor Johncock/Reilly

Looks a pretty good combo, plenty of flexibility/strength/run.

Agreed. If there is any query on Begley it is that he is very right sided, so you wouldn't play him on LHBF.

Not too sure about Massie with Rutten and Hart on the FB line.....l think we are going in a little tall there. It will of course depend on match ups.

So looks like you guys have Bassett on the outer? I would certainly have him in ahead of Massie.

Think it shows we are not as short of options as some would have us believe.
