How did he go ?

I daresay Richo's efforts tonight may not have helped his cause to be named captain

Richo had a few highlights but overall wasn't great. I thought Bowden was one of the best on ground, if not the best, before he went off for a long time in the second half. Brownie faded out of the game. Johnson was good in the 2nd half. Very impressed with Campbell sticking up for the younger players.

Like many in the team, faded in and out of the match.

According to nine he may have suffrered some rib cage injury during the second qrt and was taken of the ground and given an injection. If true, and it affected his game, then people should cut him some slack.

Those calling for richo to captain the side during the season should think again. He cant eradicate those demons that have been the talking point of his career.

Yeh i wouldnt play JB next week and i thought he did well.....one of the best tonight!!

Thought he had a reasonable game by last years standards. Mellow was dead right, like most of the players he faded in and out of the match. I also feel that Joel was a tad nervous about acting captain. Probably tried really hard to play his own game to impress Wallace.

I hope he or Johnson gets the captaincy. Gut feeling is Brown (desperatly hope not). IMO, Wallace already knows who is going to pick as captain.
